The main character is an aspiring author, but wants to do better. They are really good at planning out the plot and pacing of a story, working out what events need to happen in what order, but are somewhat let down by the description. They've done occasional writing classes, and always get the same advice: Show don't tell. It's not something they're good at, because they have little life experience of doing things in the real world, and most of their knowledge of relationships comes either from second-hand rumours when they were in school, or from other stories they've read on FanLibrary.
They find a way to do better with the help of a new friend online, and a fan of their stories. Morpheus reads a lot of fiction, in a lot of different fandoms. And also a hypnotist, who offers a unique solution. If the author feels that a particular scene seems a bit awkward, they will send the text to Morpheus, who can help them find somebody to help.
The author is hypnotised, and told that they are the character in this story. Then they can go out and find somebody to act out the scene with. After that, they understand the scene and the emotions behind it a lot better. Sometimes the other people in the scene are friends who have agreed to play along; sometimes they're friends who were also hypnotised to get into the spirit of the thing. Or if they're people the main character doesn't know, they might be played by some of Morpheus's other friends, so that the author really feels the nervousness or uncertainty of meeting new people.
But over time, the author realises that they've started fantasising about the hypnotist who has so much power over them. Being forced to play along is fun, but afterwards it comes with a feeling of helplessness, and after a while the author realises that this is turning them on.
They come up with a plan. They put together all the clues they have about Morpheus's appearance, age, accent, and so on. And by looking at other stories that Morpheus has commented on, they try to guess at the hypnotist's fetishes. Then they write a short story, with a character who is modelled after the hypnotist. Meeting the narrator in a bar, as a mysterious stranger, and doing a little light hypnosis at the bar as a little party trick; "any time I touch your hands, you will feel that touch on another part of your body. You can choose where you would most like me to be touching you."
On the way home, they are in and out of trance while walking. Fractionated, feeling more than more helpless. And then addressing the hypnotist as 'Master'. And wetting themself in the park, an absolute display of surrendering control. They go to the hypnotist's hotel room "to change into some clean clothes", and get posed and dressed like a doll, having sex during the process.
The author sends this story to Morpheus, and asks to experience it. Just hoping that the hypnotist will appear in person to fulfil their fantasies.
(Whether the story ends with it actually happening, or with "if you wanted to do that stuff, you only have to ask", or even Morpheus setting the author up with a fellow hypnotist who's closer to the author's age and location... there's a few ways it could go)
