Chloe's point of view
1 year later

It's the day before Halloween and I swear I have never seen Beca more excited in her life about a holiday. Sometimes I think she only wanted kids so she could dress them up. This year Hailey is finally old enough, in Beca's eyes at least, to join us for trick or treating and she decided for all of us to be superheros.

,,Chloe, hurry up, we have to finish decorating the house!" I hear Beca yell from downstairs. Ryan and Justin run into our room.

,,Come on mom, we need your help." I laugh at them both before messing their hair.

,,Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go help mama." Together we make our way downstairs to meet Beca and I see her holding Hailey while she is hanging up spider webs around the house and Nola is holding the ends of it. I take a picture of the three of them because they look so adorable. When I notice Beca about to trip over the ladder I yell out: ,,Beca, watch out!" She stumbles a bit but catches herself and Hailey. She looks up at me.

,,Took you long enough, now please help me because you're taller." I laugh and make my way over to her.

,,You know we could've hired people to do this right?" She shakes her head.

,,No, that defeats the purpose of Hailey's first Halloween that she will remember." I give her a quick kiss and then continue putting up the spider webs and other decorations Beca had purchased. Beca really went all out this year but it doesn't surprise me because since we have been together even before the kids her excitement for the holidays and decorating has always been one of the things that she was looking forward to doing. It's amazing how much Beca cares about all of us and the family and she is really wanting to go all out. ,,Chloe, plug in the inflatables I put them out already and Nola wants to see what they are like inflated." Beca says to me. I walk over to the power strip and flip the switch so they start filling up. There is a jack-o-lantern spooky tree with bats, a haunted train, and a ghost. All of the kids start jumping around and clapping as they fill up. I walk next to Beca.

,,You did an amazing job babe it looks really great." She looks over at me beaming.

,,Thanks and tomorrow is going to be even better just you wait and see." The rest of the night we spend watching Halloween movies to get the kids in the spirit. Beca put on the classics Casper the friendly ghost, the great pumpkin Charlie Brown, and then we ended with hocus pocus one and two. I was nervous at first showing the kids hocus pocus because those used to freak me out and still do but Beca said they would be fine. Surprisingly the girls were totally fine with it but it was Ryan and Justin who seemed to be scared by the Sanderson sisters. Since Beca was the one who made them watch it, I made her be the one to deal with them as pay back, while I went to put our girls to sleep.

Beca's point of view

I have been trying to put the boys down for the last thirty minutes but every time I think they are close to falling asleep one of them starts to cry and wakes the other one up. This is getting to be too much and I feel a little bad about making them watch it but who knew they would have this reaction I mean their younger sisters are fine. I think quickly.

,,Boys, you do know that those witches can't hurt you right?" Ryan digs himself out from the covers.

,,How do you know?" I look at him.

,,Because you have two protectors that would do anything to make sure you are okay." Justin looks over now.

,,Do you promise?"
