Chloe's point of view

The sun streams in through the curtains. The mid morning light falls upon the bed where I'm tangled in the sheets and Beca. Both our clothes are lying scattered around the floor as a result of last night. I draw patterns on Beca's hip, waking up before the beautiful woman I got to marry. I smile, thinking about how Beca has grown over time. I still remember the shy girl I met sixteen years ago.

We had a four year friendship before we finally started dating, clearly letting each other know how much we cared for each other. Dating Beca for four years had ups and downs. Sometimes Beca got insecure and we fought, but we always ended up together.

I remember buying the ring with my mom before Beca and I went on that cruise. The way it did shine and the way it would fit around Beca's finger. I took it with me to that awful night and never got the chance to actually propose that day because the ship sank with Beca.

I don't remember much about the months after that, only that I got pregnant from Chicago and decided to keep the baby. Luckily most of the Mitchell's were there for me and of course my own family. Wyatt chose to interrogate me at work, making me feel less and not important. Chicago supported my choices, regarding Ryan and even supported me financially. He was always away for work, so most of the time, raising Ryan came to me.

I will never forget the day that Beca stood in front of me, three years after the ship sank. I regret that I didn't run after her because after that I had to watch her with Serena. They were cute together, but my feelings never faded away. Luckily Serena was the one who helped us get back together and now we're here. Together, married and with children. Not just one, but four amazing children.

Beca adapted to parenthood well despite her hesitations. Beca was so happy when I was pregnant with Justin after she had the miscarriage and she was there for me night and day, attentive to my every desire. She would even go out on obscure grocery store requests in the middle of the night. But the best memory I have is waking up almost every morning to Beca singing quietly to my bump.

I also love the way Beca loves Ryan. Even though she reminds herself and everyone around her that Ryan is nothing of her biologically, she still manages to love him with all her heart. She has a million photos of them sharing a pair of headphones, watching Disney movies, wearing similar leather jackets, and the family pictures of course. Every year on my birthday, Beca demands to take a family picture and I would be crazy to deny her. We have only done it for three years now, but seeing Ryan taking care of his younger siblings is heartwarming.

,,What are you smiling about?" I suddenly hear and turn my head a little so I can look into my wife's eyes.

,,I was just thinking about how far we've come." Beca hums in agreement.

,,We've come a long way but I love nobody as much as I love you." She tells me and then kisses me sweetly.

,,I can't believe Ryan is already in third grade." I sigh. ,,Justin just started Kindergarten and Nola is the perfect mix of you and me. She looks so much like you and she's only one." Beca smiles.

,,Yeah, about Nola." Beca starts and rubs circles on my naked chest, going over my breasts a little slower. ,,She wants to help me with the groceries."

,,Really?" I ask her, feeling goosebumps all over my body because the way Beca is rubbing circles.

,,Yeah, so I thought that I could shop for groceries and take Nola and Hailey with me. I think Ryan and Justin need a break from being big brothers too." I grab her hand, stopping her movements with her hand.

,,That's actually a good idea, but you need to stop doing that with your hand or I'll take you right here and now."

,,Wasn't last night enough?" Beca smirks and places a kiss on my lips.
