Chloe's point of view

Beca's tour was a huge success and it really was a treat to go on a mini family vacation with Ryan. I can't wait to see how we can make the next family vacation even better, hopefully next time Beca won't have to work though. I did enjoy getting to watch her perform every night and see she loves what she does. She really knows how to work a crowd and she did a great thing for Olivia and Emily too by helping to catapult their careers into the next level and build their fan base.

Now it's time to get ready to celebrate Christmas with the entire Beale and Mitchell clan. I love Christmas, it's one of my favorite times of year and even though Beca acts like she doesn't like it, she let me decorate the apartment this year and I went all out. There is a tree in the living room that we all decorated together, lights around the apartment, decorated snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, and other festive items all around.

Shopping for Beca was one of the hardest things to do however, since she already has everything she could want. And if she doesn't, she has enough money to just buy what she wants. I have been thinking a lot about getting her a new ring to propose and even Nina and Zoey had tried to help me find a replacement, but none of them stood up to my standards and how perfect the first one was. So, instead I've decided to go with something simple and sentimental for Beca, I really hope she will love it. I know she tries to act like a badass around everyone else but deep down she is a big softy and that's one of the reasons I love her so much. For Ryan I got a few new outfits and a new pair of shoes he had been begging for. I swear that boy grows so fast I can't keep up with him. I'm curious to find out what Beca got for Ryan.

It's Christmas morning and we are heading over to my parents house this year since Beca's parents hosted last year. Before anything else I sneak my way out of bed and into the shower so we can head over to sooner rather than later. I know Ryan is excited to spend time with his cousins so I don't want to keep him from them. After my shower I head back into our bedroom and see Beca with her back to me, looking at something in her hands. I don't think much of it and instead I clear my throat, what startles her and she turns around quickly.

Beca's point of view

I hold the tiny box in my hands as I look at the ring inside. I've been preparing for this moment since my heart decided to forgive Chloe. I know it's fast since Chloe and I have only been back together for nine months now, but I can't and won't live my life without her anymore. Still - all those years - eight years together couldn't prepare me for this moment. Getting on one knee isn't difficult, getting Chloe to say yes is something different.

My heart is beating in my chest so hard right now while the nerves go through my body. Luckily she has no clue about this and I can ask her at my own pace. I will ask her today, I just need to find the right moment.

I hear Chloe clear her throat and I quickly close the box and put it in the pocket of my jeans, unable to be found by Chloe. I turn around and see her, covered in a towel.

,,Wow, look at you." I walk over to her. ,,My gorgeous girlfriend." I hook my finger to the part where the knot is and slowly start to remove the towel off her body. She quickly holds the towel up.

,,Babe, not now. Ryan could come in here any minute. Do you really want him to see us do our thing?" I shake my head.

,,No but then I'll do whatever I want tonight after my surprise." Chloe's eyes look at me.

,,What kind of surprise?"

,,Baby, don't ruin the surprise. Just wait, okay?" Chloe nods and kisses me. ,,Now, get yourself dressed. We don't want to keep Ryan waiting for his cousins and aunts and uncles to celebrate Christmas, remember?" Now I smirk. ,,Unless you want to show up naked. I don't mind that at all." Chloe laughs.
