☆Three years later☆

I went into the office earlier than normal, because today is not a normal day. Chloe is due to give birth to our second daughter. We are so lucky to already have two boys and one girl. Ryan is already eight and a half years old, Justin is four and Nola just turned one a month ago. All three of them are excited to meet their baby sister.

,,Hey Beca, how are you holding up?" Emily comes in.

,,The suspense is killing me. Chloe could go into labor any minute now and I just hope Sutton will let me go when I get the call."

,,I'm pretty sure she would. I mean, you're an icon here. You have worked here for almost four years now and you're one of the most popular music producers in the world. Remember that you were the one who made 5 Seconds of Summer world famous? Or that all kinds of artists asked you to make a mashup for them? You have recorded more albums than anyone could ever dream of and you have worked with the most famous artists. Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Madonna, Dua Lipa... Do I need to go on?"

,,Hey, don't forget yourself. You're already working on your third album." Emily smiles.

,,Three albums in three years, I never would've thought that would be but thanks to you, it has. Your children are so lucky to have you as their mother." I look down, still thinking about how Ryan is not really mine.

,,Ryan isn't mine." I tell Emily and she crosses her arms. ,,Don't get me wrong, I love the little guy and he loves me, but I'm afraid that when Chicago gets released he wants to get to know him."

,,Why would Ryan want to know that stupid army guy?"

,,Well, last time he saw him he was too little. But now that he's eight years old, he can be curious about his father. What if he wants to meet him?"

,,He's not allowed. Chloe won custody, so Chicago has not a single say in this."

,,You're right. I'm sorry for what I said, I'm just worried about Chloe. I haven't heard anything and she's almost one week after her due date. What if something is wrong with Hailey?" Emily wraps her arms around my shoulders.

,,Chloe is strong and has already put three healthy children into this world. Justin and Nola look so much like you. They love you so much, all three of them. I don't think you can do anything wrong in their eyes."

,,Except losing Grace." I sigh. ,,I'm so happy Chloe decided to choose Grace as Nola's middle name, just so she would be always with us."

,,Chloe and you are the power couple everyone wants to be." Emily says and now I smirk at her.

,,How are you and Yelena?" Emily blushes.

,,It's actually going great. Living with her was the best decision I ever made. I love her so much, even though I worry about her getting hurt every day."

,,You two have been together for three years already, that's a big achievement. So, do you want to take the next step?"

,,I am, but I'm not sure if Yelena wants it too." She looks nervous all of a sudden.

,,What's wrong?"

,,Yelena has been all mysterious lately. Going on secret dates, coming home late, keeping secrets..." My mouth just opened with enthusiasm. ,,Do you think she's cheating on me?"

,,Okay, that does sound suspicious. But before you do anything drastic, talk to her." Emily nods and then she changes the subject. ,,So, do you want to go have some lunch?" I nod and grab my bag.
