- Chapter 24 -

I walked out of the bathroom once I had cleaned myself up.

A few people were roaming the halls as I did and people snorted at me.

I sighed and went to my locker. I grabbed my jacket and slipped it on. I pulled my hood over my head and headed for the lunch room.

I walked in with my head down. Thank god no one noticed me.

"Mallory." someone behind me whispered.

Guess someone did...

I turned around. I was a little scared to see who it was. I turned around and a unfamiliar face stood in front of me.

"Um yea?" I asked.

"Hey can we talk?" he asked me.

Yeah it was a guy. May I add he was cute.....

"Yea sure." I said confusedly.

I hesitated to follow him but ended up walking after him.

We walked outside of the lunch room and out around where the  lockers were.

He pulled me to the side and stared into my eyes.

His dark hair fell, covering his eyes.

"You really don't recognize me do you?" he asked with pity in his voice.

"Sorry but I don't." I informed him.

"Evan. Evan Pressly." he breathed.

"Evan from middle school?" I asked.

Evan use to be one of my friends in middle school , until he moved and we lost all connection.

"Yea, that's me." he said with a smile forming on his face.

"Evan!" I cried out before hugging him tight.

"I can't believe your back!" I said into his broad chest.

Even looked REALLY good.

"It's kinda my first day back." he said blushing lightly.

He looked even cuter when he blushed! Especially when I could see his dimples forming.

Me and Evan were catching up, and getting along really well.

I had almost forgot about Evan.

I just can't believe he's back.

Its like we're in middle school again an nothing even matters. It's just me and him.

"So what class do you have next?" I asked him.

Biology was mine.

"History." he said.

I sighed.

"I have history." I said with a pout.

He laughed.

"It's ok we'll still see each other. I have Biology after History. Maybe if you wait we could hug or something." he said bitting his lip.

That was very attractive.

"Yea." I  said blushing.

Oh my gosh. Wait , did he say hug!?

Heck yea !

The bell for next period rang as me and Evan said bye. He held his arms out waiting for me to hug him.

I smiled and hugged him.

People around us were whispering and gasping but I didn't care. Evan was befriending me for me and that was what mattered .
