Alec POV

"I made my decision, Marco. I'm not going." I glare at him. Marco rolls his eyes and flicks my forehead.

"Yes you are. I don't care if I have to drive to your parents and then make them give me directions to Judith's house. If you don't go you'll only regret it." He sighed.

"Yeah, I'll regret going because she'll reject me." I huffed out. "Marco can't you just take it and accept that I'm not going. She'll be happier without me there."

"That's bullshit and you know it. If you go how would she react? Tell me, what would Judith do when she sees you."

"I don't know."

"Yes you do. Tell me. Come on." Marco raised an eyebrow. Whitney sitting with Grayson holding in her laughter while looking at her mate.

"She would see me and run out of the house and throw herself at me. Hug me until she physically couldn't anymore." I tell him. "What has this got to do with anything? I'm not going and that's the end of it."

"Are you ready, babe? Got all the bags for a couple days?" Marco looked at Whitney.

"All packed, baby." She replied. With that being said, Marco walked up to me with a smile making me frown. Before I could even say anything, he grabs the back of my neck and pushes me out of the house. Whitney behind us with four bags and Grayson waking in front of her.

"Marco, what the fuck. Let me go." I groan out. Somehow he manages to unlock the car and get me in the back and lock the car again so I couldn't get out. "Open this door now, Marco." I mean, I could break it but I'd prefer not to use all my savings on repairing his car when I could simply talk myself out of this.

"You're going. I told you if I have to drive to your parents house then I will. So we're gonna make a trip of it. I'll meet your mate and send you off on your merry away with a smile on your face." He replies. I roll my eyes and slump back against the seat.

Marco unlocks the car to open the door for Grayson to get into his car seat. Like he was reading my mind, he locked it again so I couldn't get out my side nor could I get out by Grayson because Marco would only push me back into the car. He did the same when he and Whitney got into the car. And when he was settled, the little bitch put my door on childlock so I couldn't get out when we stop for Whitney.

Being what I am I can hold off going to the toilet for the hours we would be driving. However Whitney is human and pregnant so can't hold it, same with Grayson since he's still little, he's not as good as Marco and I.

"I can't believe I'm being treated like a fucking child." I muttered.

"Stop acting like one and I'll stop treating you like one. Did you call or message her to let her know we'll be there?" Marco asked.

"No. I've been ignoring her all week."

"Alec." Marco growled. "I know you think this will be better for everyone, but it won't. Even if you get rejected, which I know you won't, think about Judith. Ryker told me she misses you like crazy and kept asking about you. Now I know why."

"Why are you doing this, Marco. What do you get out of this?"

"I get to see my best friend happy. I get to meet the girl that said best friend is smitten with, knows her like the back of his hand." He said.

"You'll know the back of my hand if you don't let me out of his car."

"Alec, do you really think you could avoid this forever? She would find out sooner or later and you'd only feel guilty for keeping it from her. You never know she could have met someone and had kids but then all of a sudden she's not only hurt because you kept it from her but she would want her mate and then her husband would be hurt and the kids would have split parents. You don't want that do you? You want her and for her to have your kids. Better to rip off the bandaid and go from there instead of people getting hurt in the long run." Whitney stated.

She's not wrong. It would only hurt in the long run. Not just for me, but Judith and hurting her is the worst thing I ever went through. Hearing her sobbing down the phone, the begging of me to go back home. I know it wouldn't be fair for Judith to have a chance to figure out what she wants, if it's a life with me or if she wants to reject me to be with someone else.

In the next couple of hours we stopped about five times for Whitney and Grayson to use the toilet. What would usually be a four hour drive for me and Marco, turned into five and a half because Whitney also saw a KFC and wanted chicken. Marco can't say no to his mate, especially when she's carrying his child so whatever Whitney wants, Marco gave it to her. I want to be that for Judith.

I want to love her, appreciate all the little things and give her the world. Explore with her, to know what woman she's turned out to be, what changed and what hasn't. If I still know her like the back of my hand, as Marco put it. The only thing that's putting me off is seeing her with Adam. I don't want to come between her happiness if she wants to be with him. I could never forgive myself if I held her back. All I want is for her to be happy.

It's good that we left early because by the time we got to my dads' house it was roughly 3:00pm. When I walked in they greeted me with a hug, same with Lola. Her mate, Kyle, standing behind her and hugged me after Lola. They met when she was twenty-three, so when she went out shopping only to come back with a man surprised everyone. Thank god I didn't live here, my parents are bad enough let alone having to listen to newly a mated couple.

"How was it?" My dad, Ryker asked Marco.

"He was a little bitch, but we got him here." He chuckled with his arm around Whitney.

"How's this little one?" Dad, Dustin smiled at Grayson who smiled shyly back.

"Good." Grayson whispered.

"Good. Are you excited for a little brother or sister?"

"No. I want a puppy." He frowned making my dad laugh.

"Uncle Alec was the same when we brought Lola home."

"I remember that." Dad, Ryker chuckled and kissed my other dads cheek.

"Have you been to see Judith yet?" Dustin looked at me.

I shook my head. "Not yet."

"What are you doing here then. Go, go." He pushed me out of the door. Marco, Whitney and Grayson following so they could meet Judith as well.

"Are you gonna drive or do I have to ask your dads for directions?" Marco looked at me. I rolled my eyes and went to the drivers seat and got inside. Whitney sat in the passenger side again because she could stretch her legs out more than what she could in the back is Marco was up front.

Both of us have long legs so have to adjust the seats. It's a little cramped but I manage, and I have to be careful because Grayson sits behind the drivers seat. The house came into view, my heartbeat picked up from nerves and I wanted to so badly turn the car around and go back home. I'm driving to Marco couldn't stop me or he'd cause a crash. And with his pregnant mate and son in the car he could only shout at me.

Before I knew it, I parked the car and got out. My senses filled with the scent of my mate being so close in such a long time. Just as I got ready to walk to the door, it opened and the most beautiful girl ran out. Her long hair floating around her as she ran. Everything froze, I couldn't move, it all stopped.

Thanks for reading. Don't worry, I won't leave you like this for long. There will be another chapter soon.
