Alec POV

When I knew Judith was asleep, I carefully slid from beside her and sat on the edge of the bed. With a sigh, I pick up my clothes and quickly got dressed before placing a soft kiss on Judith's head and left the room. Walking past Harriette and Damien's bedroom, I saw them in there along with my parents, Aiden and Elena, Harriette's father and stepmother.

I gave a gentle knock on the door and gave a small smile as I entered through the threshold. All of them gave me a small smile back, Harriette looking exhausted yet she had the biggest smile of them all.

"Thank you." She said, her voice a little croaky.

"There's nothing to thank, Harriette. You're family, you know we'd all do anything for each other." I replied.

"I'm thanking you because once again you got my babies here safely. But most of all keeping my oldest baby happy." Harriette stated.

"I'd do anything if it meant Judith is happy. Absolutely anything." I whispered in a promise. "She is the centre of my world and will be put above anyone and everyone."

"We know." Damien smiled softly.

I smiled as I walked over to Damien and Harriette looking down at the small pups in their arms. Little Cora with her mother and Cole with his father.

"I guess I'm not the most important man in her life now. This little man has taken that from me." I chuckled running my finger across his soft cheek. His lips lifting into a smile.

"Never. They may be important to Judith but no one will come above you." Harriette said.

I smiled sensing my mate close. She's stood by the door. "I don't know. These two are melting my heart. I might just have to send Judith down the list."

My mate gasped dramatically making me laugh. "I can't believe you just said that. I'm highly offended." Judith said. "They are definitely above you now."

I turned to look at her. "I'm sure they are little one." I smiled. Judith rolled her eyes and walked to stand at my side. I put my arm over her shoulders and held her close to me. I kissed her head, silently telling her that I love her. I don't have to say it, with my actions Judith knows.

I know I haven't really been the greatest mate, however I'm going to do better. I'm not trying at all, I will do it because that's what Judith deserves. Someone better. Judith has been nothing but good to me. She left the only place she's ever known, the only people she's ever known to move to a place that she's never heard of or been to.

Judith did that for me. Which in writing doesn't seem like a lot, but mentally I know it took it's toll on her. Then Mandy happened and I didn't handle that in a good way, then I killed Mandy putting a target on Judith's back. My beautiful mate got hurt because of my stupidity. Those vile people hurt her, for what? To get back at me.

Mandy got what she deserved. She took what she wanted with no remorse and broke people apart. I was blinded by loneliness and being away from Judith I took Mandy's company without hesitation. I thought she wanted to be my friend. Again I was blinded by her keeping me company when I needed someone most. That someone I couldn't be around because it wasn't the right time.

"Can I hold Cora?" Judith asked her mum. Harriette nodded and held up the tiny body for Judith to cradle in her arms. My mate stood by me again, my arms cradling Judith's while she held the baby. I stood behind her with my chin on her shoulder staring down at the sleeping girl in my mates arms.

"You'd be such a good mama, baby girl." Harriette complimented her daughter.

"Thanks mum." Judith smiled. We gently started rocking side to side setting a soft motion. I kissed Judith's bare shoulder, from my T-shirt falling down on her, and whispering in her ear.

"You'd be the best mum ever. No one would ever compare." I told her.

"Excuse me, Mr." My dad, Dustin, gasped dramatically making Damien, Harriette, Judith, aiden and Elena laugh. I smiled cheekily.

"You're not a mum, you're my dad." I rolled my eyes.

"What about Harriette then? She's the best mum." He stated stubbornly. That's my dad, he likes to be dramatic.

"She's a great mum, raised the greatest woman. But Judith will be the best. No one can change my mind." I smiled. "And I'll wait as long as she wants until she gifts me with a baby of our own."

"Let me spoil these babies first." Judith looked up at me over her shoulder.

"As long as it takes." I whispered to her.

After spending time with the babies, our parents and Aiden and Elena, Judith and I went back to our room. Harriette needed a well deserved rest and her and Damien could finally have a one on one with their new children.

Laying in bed, once again I had Judith under my chin with our arms wrapped around each other. My nose buried in her hair smelling the coconut from her shampoo. I like this. Not a word coming from our lips, just our light breaths and the wind coming from the open window.

"Do you really think I'll be a good mum?" Judith looked up at me. I slid down the bed a little so we were face to face. I need her to see how much I know she'll be a great mum.

"The best there is." I told her. "Our future children will be so lucky to have one of the greatest women alive to be their mother."

"And you their father."

"I'll do right by them, I'll do everything I can, but I won't be as good as you. I'm not good like you." I muttered.

"You are good. You'll be a great dad, Alec. You'll love and protect them, you'll comfort them when they're upset. I don't have any doubts about that. I don't think it, I know it." She reassured me.

"I hope so." I gave a small smile.
