Judith POV

"Alec? You're back?" A girl smiled when she saw Alec. She pushed past me and hugged Alec, almost like she's his mate. He smiles back and hugs her.

"I told you I'd be back, didn't I?" He chuckled lightly. My heart sinks seeing his arms wrapped around her. It may be hypocritical of me because I did get with Adam, but I never hugged him or didn't anything with anyone else while Alec was around. I don't care, I mean if I wasn't here I wouldn't have seen it, what I don't know won't hurt.

But I do know. I can see two minutes later they still haven't separated. I stand here looking like a fucking idiot staring at my mate and whoever she is while they hug like they've done it a thousand times before. She's tall, tan with slender legs. Brunette hair which is down to her shoulders. She looks like someone who Alec would have by his side. She's beautiful.

"Hey." Whitney came up next to me with a smile. I forced one back replying with a hi, Marco next to her. "What the Fuck are you doing?" Whitney spat out. The woman and Alec look at us and pull away.

"Oh." The woman smiles but I know she's doing it out of spite. "Hello Whitney."

"Don't fucking hello me, bitch. Get the fuck away from Alec now." She spat out.

"What? You fucking him as well. Didn't think Marco was a fan of sharing."

"I'm not." Marco growled. "However you're standing awfully close to a mated man. I suggest you show his mate some goddamn respect and back off."

"Oh, her." She looked at me with disgust. "As if." She scoffed.

"Mandy, meet my mate Judith. Little one this is my friend Mandy. She works here with me." Alec said coming to stand next to me. As he went to wrap his arm around my waist I stepped to the side so he wouldn't touch me. I know I might be overreacting but if the alpha of this pack is taking to her like Marco did, I'm sure there's something wrong with her.

"It's nice to meet you." I whispered forcing a smile.

"We're going to start the BBQ. You two coming?" Whitney asked looking between me and Alec.

"Uh, sure." I nodded.

"Ye-," Alec started but was cut off by Mandy.

"Nah uh, mister. You're staying here so we can catch up. You've been gone a week and I want to hear about your family and what you got up to while you were gone."

"Maybe another time." Alec told her.

"No, it's okay. Stay, I'm going to go with Whitney and Marco. You two catch up." I told him. I feel like I'm going to throw up and break down. I'd rather not be around Alec at the moment. Or anyone for that matter.

"Are you sure? I come back to work in a few days, it can wait." Alec looked down at me.

I forced a smile and blinked away the tears that wanted to show. "I'll be okay for a while, I'm not with strangers. Stay, honestly. I'll be fine."

"Okay." He nodded, a wide smile coming on to his lips. He leaned down to kiss me. I don't know why, but I turned my head so his lips hit my cheek instead of my lips. When he pulled away, I walked off. Whitney and Marco following behind.

When we were out of earshot, Whitney and Marco came to my side. "Are you okay?" Whitney asked, worry on her face.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked. "I have my friends and he has his."

"She's not a friend." Marco scoffed. "She's a bitch just trying to get into his pants. And he's too fucking blind sometimes to see that she's nothing but a desperate bitch trying way too hard to warm his bed."
