Ten years later...

Alec POV

Judith laughed as she gently ran from the small pups chasing her. Cora and Cole playing in their wolf forms taking in the last few minutes with their sister. After spending a few months here for my mate to be with her parents and make a bond with her brother and sister, Judith decided we should move back to Marco's pack.

At first I was against it because of the problems before, however she insisted. It did take a while to get used to again. Judith was quite jumpy for the first year and a half, especially if someone came up behind her. Eventually I ended up killing Mandy's mother and the other people that had a part in beating Judith. They deserved every bit of pain I inflicted on them.

Some people may not agree, however when it comes to Judith, I will never show mercy. Especially when they did what they did. No one hurts my mate and gets away with it. She means everything to me and I refuse to let anything bad happen to her.

"Ready to do, little one?" I called over to her. Cora and Cole whined upon hearing my question.

"Yeah. Let's get these two to mum and dad." Judith replied hooking her hands around the small pups bellies and picking them up. I stood up from my sitting position on the grass.

As soon as we reached Harriette and Damien's house, Judith put the twins down, to which they ran into the house and to their parents. Harriette having clothes ready for them when they shift back.

"Please don't leave Judith." Cora pouted. An exact replica of her big sister that still amazes me to this day. Cora is definitely like Judith.

"I know, Cora. I'll be back visiting before you know it. And I'll make sure to bring you and Cole something nice." Judith smiled at her.

Cora nodded and hugged her sister tightly. Cole joining as well telling Judith how much he'll miss her. Both are the sweetest kids and love their family dearly.

"We come for a sleepover at your house soon?" Cole looked up at me with his cute little puppy eyes.

"Of course." I kneeled to his level. "Just ask mummy and daddy and I will come and pick you up. You and Cora. You're welcome whenever you want."

Both kids nodded with huge smiles on their cute little faces. Judith and I hugged Damien and Harriette before we left to go home. I put in the last of our things and we got in the car smiling as Cora and Cole ran after the car a little ways before stopping.

"Them kids absolutely love you." I smiled at my mate.

"They better." She laughed. "I love them as well. I can't describe how much I do. I'm sure it doesn't compare to when we have our own, but it cuts real close."

"I'm ready when you are, little one." I told her and rubbed my hand on her thigh. "Just say the word and you know I won't let you leave the house until you're pregnant."

"I know." Judith smiled and took my hand in hers.

The whole way home we made small talk, Judith napped half of it before waking up for the last half an hour of the drive. Her soft snores made me smile the whole time she was asleep. No matter how she is, Judith without a doubt can always put a smile on my face and make me fall even more in love with her.

When we got back home, of course Marco, Whitney, Wes and Maggie as well as their children, waiting for us.

"We need to steal this one for a while." Whitney smiled sheepishly and hooked her arm with Judith's pulling her away, Maggie hooping her arm with my mates free one and joining them.

"You need to tell your wives to stop stealing mine." I chuckled while getting mine and Judith's bags from the car.

"You know we can't stop them." Marco also chuckled. "They are always up to something."

"There is never a time when them women aren't up to something. Literally never. They spend more time having mothers meetings than actually doing anything productive." Wes laughed.

"Speaking of mothers." Marco began. "Any luck on becoming a dad? Surely it's time. You and Judith are so good with our kids, I know you'll both be amazing with your own."

"She's still on the pill, it's up to her. I'm happy with it being just the two of us. Making a family will be on her terms, it's not my body that's changing, it's hers. If she's ready today or in another ten years then so be it." I shrugged while walking into the house.

"Who knows, Judith might not be able to have kids. Or it'll take a long time like it did for her parents. It'll happen when it happens and we'll be ready. I know we will. She's amazing with all the kids here, Cora and Cole absolutely adore her." I smiled. "It'll be our turn when the time comes."

Marco and Wes hummed and nodded. I put mine and Judith's bags down in the living room and sat down. Marco, Wes and I spoke for a few minutes more before our mates came in. Judith came to me and sat down curling up into my side. I wrapped an arm around her and laid my cheek on top of her head.

"Did you have a nice chat?" I asked her.

"The nicest." Judith replied with a laugh. She moved her head and looked up at me. "We have to talk later."

"You know where I'll be when you need me." I told her.

After a few hours, the house was finally ours. I stood in the kitchen cooking dinner while Judith was elsewhere doing whatever it was she was doing. It wasn't until I heard her feet pattering towards the kitchen did she come to me. Her chest met my back and her arms circled around my waist.

"Smells good." Judith mumbled.

"Hmm." I nodded. "I'm making spaghetti bolognese." Judith grabbed a spoon and tasted a bit of the mince like she always does.

"You always make the best bolognese." She smiled.

"What did you need to talk to me about?" I asked, turning around and leaning against the counter crossing my arms.

"I don't want you to be mad so promise me you won't get angry." She said.

"Nothing you do will ever make me angry Judith. You can tell me anything." I reassured her.

"Well." She started. "I came off the pill a couple months ago."

I nodded. "Okay. Why would I be mad about that?" I frowned. If she wanted to come off the pill that's her choice. "Okay so you wanted to start trying for a pup?"

"Yeah." Judith replied.

"That's fine. Maybe a little warning would've been nice, I guess. Just so we can mentally prepare for it and make sure we're expecting it." I told her. I walked over to her and put my hands on her shoulders.

"That would never make me angry, little one. It's your body, if you feel you're ready to start a family I'll be on board with anything. You're the boss." I smiled. "I'll do anything you tell me to do. How long have you been off it?" I asked turning away from her to carry on cooking.

"Two months." Judith replied. I furrowed my eyebrows a little thinking. She's late. Very late. I turned to look at her again.

"Are you pregnant?"

"I." She whispered. "I think so."

"Have you taken a test?" I questioned further. Judith shook her head in response. I turned off the cooker and basically ran out of the house.

My head pumping in my chest as I got in the car and went way over the speed limit to get to the shop. We need to find out, it's not healthy for either of them to go in blind if she is pregnant. We need to make sure it's growing properly and see how far along she is.

Another chapter for you guys. Hope you enjoyed.
