Today would be all about games. Both the Anderson and Jones' families would go head to head in various competitions as a bonding experience. Trey was very confident that his family would win but he didn't understand who the Anderson's were.
"Will you be competing in the family games today?" Artemis asked sitting next to Jonathan.
Jonathan didn't plan to do anything simply to preserve himself when his break was over. Of course he was athletic, and he could easily dominate but they were in the cusp of the season and he couldn't risk it.
"The celebrity doesn't want to participate?" Go figure" Trey and his friends laugh.
"Aye, not too much on him!" Asani pointed, "Worry about losing to Adel in the fencing game later."
Adel was great at fencing, the power of the blade thrilled her. Control was a big thing for her, she rarely lost it and even sometimes wished that she could be submissive.
The first game was flag football. Adel's cousin Gio played college football, he was their secret weapon.
"Jonathan."
"Mr. Laurent."Taking a seat next to Jonathan, Laurent gave him a glance over. "You look well young man."
Laurent never gave Jonathan a compliment outside of 'good game kid'. He didn't have a real issue with Jonathan. He just entered his daughter's life at the wrong time.
"Umm—," Jonathan cleared his throat, "Thank you sir."
Laurent continued to sip his cognac on the rocks. "Did my wife or eldest invite you? They both love you so much, it wouldn't be surprising."
"Does it matter sir?"
"Not really." Laurent shrugged. "Just curious.""Asani but, mama was the most happy to see me."
Laurent knew his wife loved Jonathan, she said he reminded her of a young Laurent which he resented, but sadly he agreed.
"WE WON!" Trey yelled as he scored the final touchdown. Jonathan couldn't help but roll his eyes. He wanted nothing more than to put Trey to shame.
The next game would be Polo, something that Adel was excited to do. On her first date with Jonathan, they went horse riding, he was terrible at it but she thought the gesture was cute.
"Hey Stormi, you're gonna help me today." Adel brushed the beautiful brown and white stallion. "You really to go out there and kill it?"
She looked up at Jonathan and smiled, "You know I am."
Jonathan helped her onto the horse. It didn't go unnoticed how easily he could lift her or that he had a handful of her ass in his hand. Trey wasn't enthused about his presence. He didn't like the feeling of someone being more decorated than him showing up to his weekend weekend to show off.
The Anderson's were winning which wasn't surprising. Adel and Stormi were definitely connected during this game play. The Joneses didn't like to lose. It was not in their nature to accept defeat.
"You better do something Trey, and do something now." His father seethed. Trey was a menace on his own and decided the only way to win, was to cheat.
Having a pointer on the end of his keys, he directed it to Stormi. The small red light distracts the horse causing him to lose his composure, ultimately causing Adel to fall.
Jonathan ran over to her aide first, trying to figure the source of the pain.
"Tell me what hurts."
"My shoulder." She cried.Artemis called medics to assist her daughter. Rushing off to the medical facility on the property, the Anderson's were down a team member.
"Well, do I smell a forfeit?" Trey smirked.
"It's a tie right now ass wipe." Asani pointed, "We can still beat you."
"With who? Your best fencer is gone. I'll be collecting the trophy now."
"Now wait a second." Laurent felt that there was dirty work at play. "We still have a pretty good fencer for our team."
"Like who?" Trey's father, Fredrick asked.
"Jonathan."Everyone looked to Jonathan who wore a shocked expression in his face. Never would he have imagined being supported or recommended by Laurent to do anything more than go to hell.
"The celebrity isn't going to get his hands dirty. Why would he risk getting injured?" Trey taunted.
"I'll do it." Jonathan had enough of the insults and he wasn't happy about Adel being hurt, "For Adel."
"You got this Jonny! Trey is hardly a better player than Delly. Embarrass him on our behalf."
Jonathan walked into the match confidently. He had no issue with beating Trey. It was a cake walk. Even earned a forfeit after Trey twisted his wrist the wrong way.
"Now you and your fiancé have matching injuries, maybe you might wanna check on her while you're in there?"
Later that night, Jonathan made it his mission to visit Adel in her room. She had long been out of doctor supervision and laid bored in her bed. The knock on her door grabbed her attention. Slowly getting up, she shuffled to answer the door.
"Hey Adel."
"Hey." She stepped back, allowing him to enter her space."How you feeling?" He asked taking a seat on the couch he previously made her cum on. "I'm okay. On pain killers right now."
She sat beside him, getting comfortable. "Sorry that happened to you."
"Yeah, good thing my dress is sleeveless." She giggled, everything about the wedding was a joke to her now, and before.
"Still finding a way to get a laugh out of a good situation." He loved that about her. "Yeah, what else could I do?"
"What did they say was wrong with this shoulder of yours?" He lightly traces the lidocaine path with his fingers.
"Just a strain is all. I'm fine Jona." She felt contentment under his touch. "Did your fiancé explain himself?"
"What do you mean?" She turned to him, breaking their physical contact. "He went to the medical center today."
"He did not. Never saw him."
"Well, that's not surprising.""Enough about him, why are you still here?"
"Because I don't want you to get married. I thought that was clear." Jonathan thought his first day here made a clear statement on his intentions.
"But I haven't changed my mind on marrying him. There's just no point in fighting it. I can't fight it anyways."
"Adel, if you don't wanna marry him, you don't have to" he argued.
"Tell that to my father."
