Yet again someone that Josh didn't know was saying hi to him. The last few days consist of women from his dorm to class fighting to get a moment to talk to him. It was strange, he was truly a fan favorite overnight .

"Who was that?" Mikal asked as they walked to their political science course. "No idea."

"Sheesh, it's been a week hasn't it?" Josh shook his head, "Yeah, I'm ready for this mixer to be over, so I can go back into hiding and cause planning it has been hell."

One moment none of the girls would have time to discuss the guest list and food with him, but they would ask other players who were worried about other things or hadn't been involved at all. Now, people were taking the moment to ask repetitive questions that were already answered in meeting minutes.

"Yo Sony!" Josh looked into the direction of where Mikal had been walking. It was hard keeping up with Sonya because she was never where you'd expect. Now she was in front of him with her hair in a ponytail and matching yellow sweatsuit.

Yellow looked good on her he thought.

"Hey, Kellz. What's up?" She asked giving her cousin a side hug. "Why you not on the committee for this mixer?"

She didn't fail to scrunch her face up. Sonja stayed away from things of that nature, only because they never ended up going by the theme or the plan. Tina, Heather and Raina would do too much when it came to planning and she rarely attended those events because of it.

"You know why. What happened now? Also, hello Hart" She greeted turning to him finally. He had waved when they approached but didn't want to insert himself in their conversation. "Hi Sonja."

The way he said her name, caught her off guard a bit cause she never told him her name. It made her realize their encounter was never going to work without that.

"So what did they do?"

Sonja agreed to meet with Josh and Jalen after their class to discuss how to make this mixer successful. Against what she originally wanted, she asked Heather for the details.

"Oh girl, thank you. I didn't wanna do that shit anyways, midterms and homecoming are coming up. This is the least of my worries." She admitted.

With the details of the mixer, she had two days to figure it out. It shouldn't be hard because Sonya was good at these things and her work had been prioritized, she only had to worry about collecting notes and rehearsals this week.

"You know I ain't staying for this meeting right?" Jalen grabbed the ketchup packets from the table and placed them in his brown paper bag. "Why not?"

"Cause I actually have a study group to attend."

Josh didn't know about Jalen needing to study more than he usually did, it was a surprise to him. "For what class?"

"Creative writing."

"Rubi gonna be there huh?" He joked seeing the tint in his friend's cheeks change. "She probably is." Jalen shrugged.

"Mhm, well it's fine. Not like I got much to talk about. We're finishing up last minute things anyways."

Soon Jalen was gone and there left an open spot in a comfortable section of Connelly for Sonja to sit. She looked around trying to find Josh in the crowded student Union and made note of which line she would go in when she found him. Peeking around a corner she saw him sitting with his back turned.

"You really had to sit back here?" She asked. He wasn't startled by her voice, he expected her to show up sooner or later. "Yeah, I really didn't wanna be bothered with people. Lemme see that." He pointed to her bag. She handed it over and watched him place it on his shoulder, a grown man, Nike tech suit and a floral tote bag on his shoulder. He left his own bag at the table.
