"I ain't afraid to drown, if that means I'm deep up in your ocean, yeah.
Girl I'll drink you down, sipping on your body all night." Jordan sings going through the motions Damion recently taught.
His next single was going to be Wet the Bed from his next album, Turning Point. He had been working on this body of work for some time now and it seemed like the songs were aligning with a change in his life and career.
Kieran and Staxx entered the dance studio and all eyes were on them. "This is awkward as hell." She mumbled as Ralen walked over to them.
"Hey y'all, welcome. JP is going over some stuff, he'll be with y'all right after." They followed to their designated seating before the music began again.
"Did I ever mention I loved this job?" Staxx smirked. "You get to see half naked men all day, it's a dream come true for you."
"Should be for you too." Staxx didn't understand why Kieran didn't take advantage of her opportunities. If he were her, he would toss it to any of the fine men who tried her during their shoots.
Jordan slid on the floor in front of them singing the bridge of the song. It was him freestyling as he normally did while his dancers did their choreo. The shirt he wore doubled around shoulders and back, exposing his chest. Kieran didn't want to maintain contact but she couldn't look away. He winked at her before going back into formation for the last few steps they just learned.
Wiggs turned down the music to go over adjustments with J2 and Damion. They worked close together to make sure the music and moves were amplified when it was time to perform.
JP's full dance group was in attendance today and that included Jenne, Mariah, Moses, JK, Gary, Juan, and Mychal. These were the people he clicked with as soon he touched down in The Bay with a guitar and a dream.
Kieran took notes as Staxx networked. She always worked diligently for the interviews she actually did. She took journalism and psych in high school and college, her dream as a child was to mind read but clearly that wasn't possible. She would settle for knowing the human mind and reporting it.
"Is this what you're gonna do the whole time?" She looked up to see Jordan smiling. She wished he stopped doing that because she understood why everyone fell for his charm. Jordan had a great smile and away with his words.
"No, I'm just writing down what I observed." He took the seat Staxx previously occupied. "And what did you observe?"
"Well, it helps to see how you interact with the people you work with. Let's me know what kind of person you are."
"Thought this interview was about sex?"
Kieran laughed, Under the Sheets was indeed a sex magazine but she thought the articles were better when you found out who the artist was when the lights were on.
"Sex is more than just what you do in the bedroom. The way we build on the imagination of our readers is to market you in your full package. If they feel connected emotionally, they're more inclined to their best sexual fantasies."
Jordan thought about it and he understood it, just like with music. "Like what's the inspiration behind this song?"
"Does it have to be one?" He asked giving her his full attention. Kieran knew he had an answer for it but a challenge is what she would take. "Everything is inspired even if the reasoning is shallow. The song could be for the sake of sales." She shrugged.
"Far from that. I don't write anything to sell music. I wrote that song because... well it's self explanatory." He chuckled, the song itself was a declaration of complete sexual effort with a partner. His muse, whoever that would be would have no regrets with engaging with him. The purpose was to make her feel comfortable but also pushing her limits.
