"Boy you fucked up." Ralen noted as Seven avoided Jordan at all costs.
An hour and a half into the gender reveal and Seven had spoken to everyone in the room except Jordan and Cierra. Cierra hadn't noticed Seven because she had been following Jordan around like a puppy.
"What you mean?"
Ralen chuckled before pointing at Cierra and then Seven, "She hasn't said anything to you. Hasn't looked over here and you have the leech on your tailcoats."
Jordan regretted inviting Cierra cause he couldn't talk to anyone in peace. Everywhere he went, she went. One of Juan's cousin's pulled her away for some girl chatter and to save Jordan from the irritation.
"So you want the girl or not?" Ralen asked watching Seven help with the reveal set up.
Did Jordan want Seven?
"Better yet, did her having that threesome with Juan and Audi bother you?" One night while Jordan was drunk he told Ralen about how he met Seven in the first place. He did allude that it wasn't an ideal situation but he still went forward with pursuit.
Jordan thought about it, it didn't bother him. Not that he knew of. Most of the time he forgot that detail while getting to know her.
It bothered him. It did in fact bother him. He realized it in that moment. He felt like he was wasting his time because regardless she had something to fall back on if it didn't work. In his mind, she could be satisfied with being their third, she had options.
What Jordan didn't understand was, neither of them were interested in carrying on that one night the trio shared. It was an itch, they scratched it.
Seven loved them both, as friends. They would be nothing more than that. If Jordan asked that, she would reassure him that idea was not applicable. They had other problems now.
"Shit. I did fuck up. Bro, how ima get her out of here?" He asked referring to Cierra.
"It's too late now." Ralen pointed to Cierra approaching Seven.
••••
"The world is so small. Hey Sev."
The nerve of this home wrecker to walk up to Seven to speak. The last time they were face to face, Seven had her fist blacking the model's eye.
"Cierra. What do you want?" Cutting to the chase. She didn't want to have this conversation, at least not at her friends' event.
"Just wanted to say hi. I was so surprised to see you. I'm friends with the parents."
"Oh, really? That's nice."
Juan walked over to grab himself another pig in a blanket, or a few before sitting down again.
"Ladies, y'all alright over here?"
"I'm fine." Seven shrugged. She was not fine, she was triggered.
Isaac, or Zach was one of those exes that you normally couldn't shake. This as the last man she had been with before a few girlfriends and then swearing off dating. Zach knew that Seven suffered a heartbreak after her first threesome and he swore he would never put her into a situation like that again.
He was a man of many fantasies and he wanted one for himself. Seven agreed because she wanted to please him and he of course did her dirty two times over with Cierra and a host of other women.
Cierra was introduced into their threesome but it was mostly him reaping the benefits and Seven taking a backseat, ultimately walking out of his home and finding her own way back to her sister's place.
When Seven went back after their much needed break, and his begging. She walked into Cierra in her clothes, eating her food. After that encounter, Cierra had to miss a few photo shoots and a runway to heal.
"We're good. I was just talking to an old friend."
"I would hardly call us old friends."
"Well today, y'all gonna act like civilized beings and make your way to the area designated for guests. I don't know what this is, Sev we gonna talk later okay?"
She nodded walking away from the table and standing next to J2. Juan returned to his place ready to open the smoke bomb along with Audi.
"Later." Audi watched the whole thing and wanted to know what was up but that could wait. "Holding you to it."
Their loved ones gathered as they prepared to pop open the smoke. Seven stood on the other side of J2, Jordan and Ralen to his left and somehow Cierra stood next to Juan's cousin who pulled her to the side earlier.
The blue smoke filled the air and the cheers from the men rose from the concrete. Juan's victory dance would be caught on camera for the world to see. The happy couple embraced as the smoke began to clear.
"I'm gonna be a boy mom!" Audi cried as Seven held her and wiped her tears. "I know, I'm so happy for you pea!"
Most of the attendees were home free and that left a few family members occupying Audi's time.
"So the engagement is happening Saturday night. Sydel and Damion will be in on Thursday. Jenne & Mychal who you've met are gonna be helping Sydel with set up. You'll be distracting Audi on Saturday."
Seven nodded, making note of her tasks.
"J2, you're on camera. Rae you can help him and work with me and Damion on set up. JP you'll be helping me and Seven with whatever we need. Everyone got it?"
They filed out of the house and back into the backyard. Seven and Jordan remained in the kitchen. She hated a dirty kitchen and decided to get a head start on it. Jordan had things on his mind and wanted to speak to her.
The sliding door opened once again revealing Cierra.
"You ready to go?" She asked with a bored expression. "Not yet, but I'll meet you out there soon." Jordan tossed her the keys, wanting her to catch the hint her presence wasn't needed.
As soon as the front door closed, the silence resumed. Instead of standing on the other side of the dining table, he now stood next to her.
"So."
"Jordan, we really don't have to do this. It's fine, I get it."
"Get what? I wanna talk." He truly wanted to express his issue and how he was willing to move past it with reassurance.
"You moved on cause I was taking too long. You don't have to explain that."
It wasn't the case, but Jordan understood why it looked like that. Again, Ralen was right. He fucked up. He knew Seven was going to be at the reveal and he invited Cierra to let it be know he could have who he wanted as well.
Childish but certainly the point was made. He didn't like that he had to make that point.
"That girl outside beeping your horn." Ralen sighed while walking past the two.
"I'll talk to you later, okay?"
"Yeah, I'll see you Saturday Jordan."
She glanced at him before he made his exit.
"I need a fucking shot." She threw the dish towel on the counter before folding her arms over her chest and walking back into the backyard.
