Half the people I know says he looks like a thumb. The other half love him deeply 😂

Devin had no business talking to this woman. He knew it was wrong, but his goal was to strike back like he never did before.

Star Shooting Guard of the Phoenix Suns was living the life, money, cars, homes and women. So much so it affected his on the court lifestyle and that's why Coach Williams tore into him badly.

His teammates would not let the reprimanding go and Devin spent two weeks angry at the world every time he stepped foot on Suns' owned property.

He spent a lot of time thinking of how he was going to get his payback and prove to everyone he was still him. In the club, in a section soaking up everything around him, he had his eyes set on Laila Williams, daughter of Monty Williams, his coach.

His plan? Make her fall in love with him and then break her heart.

"You looking at ole girl like you want her. You sure you wanna go that route?" Drake, his close friend and famed rapper asked.

"Yeah, I want her."

Drake nodded before sending one of his security to the other section that Laila and her friends were in.

Laila kept a lowkey profile. People gathered around her because of her father and she understood that. Most of her friends were from when she was younger, other athletes daughters or WAGs. It was easier to keep up when they had a common ground.

Right now, she was out for her friend Mychal's birthday and the night was going good so far.

"Are you having fun?" Laila asked as Mychal sat down for the first time all night. "I'm so tired! Yes I'm having fun. I lowkey miss my kids though." She pouted. Mychal, was a former college basketball star and now she spent her time raising her daughters with Warriors' Forward, Andrew Wiggins.

"No! It's hot girl fall and you will not ruin it by talking about kids!" Jenne, daughter of Chris Childs scolded.

"Damn Nae, okay." Mychal huffed.

"Y'all, don't look now." Of course everyone looks at one time. "Dammit I said don't look!" Kira, their close friend sighed.

There was a bottle of Ace of Spades coming their way. They all know they didn't order it. Everyone looked to Laila and Jenne since they were the long standing Arizona residents.

"Wasn't me." Jenne shrugged.

"Not I." Laila added. The bottle landed on the table before the waitress whispered to Laila, "Courtesy of Mr. Booker."

Turning her body around fully she could see Devin already looking at her. She rose her brows in surprise before offering a thank you. Placing her hand over her heart, she smiled before turning back to her friends in confusion.

"What was that?" Sydel Curry-Lee asked. "Girl I haven't the slightest idea. Everyone knows how my dad is about his players trying to get at me."

"Try Jesus, not me." Kira mocked, "That man doesn't seem to care though."

"Maybe he's just being nice since he saw me in here. You know my dad loves him. He's just super hard on him cause that's his star from the bottom to the top."

It was true, Monty adored Devin and viewed him as a son. He spent a lot of time making sure the young man was all he could be. That's why he was hard on him.

"Enough about basketball drama! It's about Mychal and we still have a long weekend ahead."
