Donte was on fire and Kerr couldn't sit him down if he tried, the reality of it all was that he didn't want to hear or see anything bad about the team and their ability to close the game.
Paige was just as locked into the game as he was, completely ignoring her phone. She liked being away from her responsibilities in Houston. San Francisco was becoming her second home. While Donte was in Milwaukee, she lived in New York. When he got traded to Sacramento for a year, she moved to Houston. Now they were still miles apart.
This would be her 6th visit since he got traded this past summer. She sometimes would stay up to three weeks at a time. It was starting to dawn on her that her heart was somewhere else, and it wasn't in Houston.
"He's doing so well." She smiled, clapping her hands. This doesn't go unnoticed by Mariah who had been sitting with her the awhile time.

Halftime, a much needed break for the team as Kerr re-strategizes what their game plan is to keep the lead. Paige takes the time to grab more food and another drink. Her going vibrates due to someone on her favorites list texting her.
Tae 🤍 You look great but I'm confused as to how you decided to wear that outfit.
She looked down at what she wore and thought it was a great idea. She was cute and covered for the most party.
Tae, I'm literally covered where I need to be.
Tae 🤍 Paige, everything you got is pushed up or pushed out. Why you come here showing off?
She ignored his text message and went on to Instagram to clear her notifications.

Its the fourth quarter and Donte is back in the game. Him and Jordan are neck and neck with points right now, both having 24. Jordan's goal was to assist Donte into beating his high.

He beat it, making a solid three. With only two minutes left, the Warriors now tied the game again. All they needed was two plays to solidify the win.
Jordan to Ty, Ty to Kuminga, Kuminga to Moody and back to Donte for the win. Donte makes the shot at the buzzard, ending the game with 30 points.
It might not be much to some, but with inconsistent playing time, making it over 20 points could be asking for alot. The Warriors are learning there's a true ball handler on their hands.
Donte steps up for his interview and it quickly tackled by Paige who has the biggest smile on her face. "I'm so proud of you Tae!" She looks to her right noticing a camera and microphone. "Oops, my bad I'll let y'all do what y'all do."
She quickly steps away as Donte chuckles.
Paige stood off to the side in disbelief, she had 7 notifications of people sending her what Anthony posted. It was breaking her heart that he would play her like this, especially on the internet.
"What's wrong Paige?" JK asks standing beside her. "Nothing, it's fine. Congratulations on winning the game."
Jonathan wouldn't take that answer as the final response. He walked over to Jordan and Moody, explaining her mood. Jordan being the nosey man he is went on the internet to check his page. It wasn't hard to find. He used the business page as his personal.
"Apparently they're broken up." "Well when did this happen? She still had a boyfriend this morning." Moody pointed.
"How much you wanna bet he posted this on the internet before even telling her?"
"I would bet my salary but I feel bad going against a friend like that." Ty sighed. "Anyone gonna tell DiVincenzo?"
"Tell me what?"
His teammates looked around before someone needed to answer, Jordan smacked his teeth realizing he would have to break the news. "Anthony broke up with Paige on Instagram."
As badly as Donte wanted to go on the internet and blast that poor excuse of a man, he wouldn't to protect her and her peace. Donte walked over to where she stood, the closer he got, the most he could tell that something was off.
"Hey, you ready to go?" She was hopeful. In need of getting out of the public space. "Yeah, I wanna go out though."
The light in Paige's eyes faded, she didn't want to go out, she didn't want to stay in alone either. "Umm, okay. Where to?"
"To dinner, just me and you."
"Dinner?" She was confused why he wanted to go out that late when there was food at home. "Yeah, just a chance for you to show off that outfit and me to eat something I don't have to make."
"You mean something, I would have to make?" "Whatever, you wanna go or what?"
Paige agreed to dinner. It wasn't anything unusual or out of the ordinary.

Donte and Paige enjoyed dinner with not a worry in the world, almost as if no one or nothing else mattered.
