It's 2 o'clock in the morning and Jimin, who was half asleep, got up to grab a cup of water after waking up with a super dehydrated throat. Entering the kitchen and grabbing a cup, she proceeded to get water and drink it, heading back to her bedroom. She tried locating where her bed was in the dark, and managed to find her bed and went back under the covers. Then she heard a tiny whimper coming from next to her. She turned back and saw her girlfriend, Minjeong having a hard time falling asleep. She can tell that the younger one hasn't fallen asleep just yet. "You're not asleep yet?"

Minjeong was staying the weekend with Jimin since they were both free from work. But recently, it seems like something was bothering the younger girl lately.

Minjeong looked worried, like something was on her mind. "Sorry. I just can't sleep." She sat up on the bed with a frown visibly shown on her face, looking out the window from afar to see tiny stars, and a shining moon. Jimin felt like she needed to do something to clear the problem away from her girlfriend's mind. "What's bothering you?" Jimin asked in a sweet tone. She got up, wrapping her arms around the younger girl's stomach and setting her head on Minjeong's warm back. It made Minjeong feel comfortable with telling anything to Jimin. The trust in the older girl, her love for her.

"The boss has been a little angry towards me lately." Minjeong said with a really quiet voice. Jimin's eyes were wide open, with a feeling that her girlfriend had been struggling way too much. "I'm afraid he might fire me." Jimin can hear the slight trembling in the younger girl's voice. Since both of them work in the same company, Jimin was familiar with Minjeong's boss. Even though they weren't in the same department. She's seen him a few times and how he acts towards the employees.

To Jimin, she didn't find it a big deal and somewhat found it not a big deal. To her, maybe that's just how the boss's personality is. A grumpy, mean, stuck up old man. Or maybe the boss has something going on in his life that's throwing him off but the older girl thinks that the boss should cut Minjeong some slack after all the work she's done this week. Jimin raised her head up "Baby look at me." Minjeong didn't hesitate to turn around and look at the older girl. Her sparkly eyes, beautiful lips, her concerned feelings for Minjeong had her heart ease, melting.

Jimin raised both her hands up to cup the younger one's soft cheeks. "I know that your boss can be really hard on you at times. Sometimes, that's just how they are." Minjeong nodded silently, listening to every word. "I want you to know that if he does make you feel bothered in any way, don't be afraid to tell me. I'll be here to help you the best that I can. Anything to make you feel happy." Those words made Minjeong feel touched, she might even cry. Having a girlfriend that would help her in any way, made Minjeong feel better, safe, relieved.

Jimin smiled and pressed a kiss on the younger one's forehead pulling her in for a hug, rubbing her back. "How about you clear your mind and relax." Jimin proceeded to smooth out the covers a little, and flipped them open for Minjeong to get into.

Minjeong moved closer to Jimin, feeling the warmth of her body. Jimin gently slides her arms over the younger girl, bringing her closer and humming sweet tunes for her to fall asleep to.
