The world for Minjeong was like an empty can. Hollow, with no thoughts, no opinions. Unlike any human, she just hates talking with people in general, never one to explain her own emotions.
"You're hired!" Aeri, the assistant manager of the advertising department, offered Minjeong a job. It was time Minjeong got a job.
Surprisingly, for a woman like her who doesn't have any social skills, getting a huge role in a job was impressive. But she still felt like an empty can.
"Let me show you around, it's pretty big here." Aeri informed Minjeong. The younger girl nodded, and followed Aeri.
"This is our meeting room." Aeri pointed. A huge, bright and sunny room with windows surrounding them.
"This will be where the bathrooms are." Aeri gestured. Then they walked over to the cubicles.
"Here's where you'll be working." Aeri smiled, pulling The chair out for Minjeong to sit in.
And last but not least, the CEO'S room. Except Aeri didn't look so happy when she made her way to the two big doors of a room.
Aeri knocked on the door and gulped in fear. Minjeong silently watched the door open and a Woman in a black suit, with shiny silky jet black hair opened up.
The CEO was tall, her heels made her look even taller as Minjeong was face to face with the older woman.
"Yes, Aeri?" A soft, but fierce voice shot back." It sent chills down Minjeong's back and she silently stared into the woman's eyes. The soft, sweet eyes of the CEO's.
"a-ah yes..um, meet our new employee, Minjeong!" Aeri stuttered. The CEO trails her eyes over to Minjeong, making the younger girl slightly bow before him.
The CEO sticks her hand out towards Minjeong. She was confused and looked up to see the CEO. Something in her chest lit up, and it was something she's never felt, never in her 22 years of living has she ever felt this spark in her chest.
She grabbed the CEO's hand and shook them.
"Nice to meet you, Minjeong."
"I'm the CEO of this Company, Yu Jimin." She said with a drained expression.
Minjeong felt even more chills after that introduction. Suddenly she didn't feel so hollow and empty anymore.
"Nice to meet you too, Ms. Yu." Minjeong's smile shocked both Aeri and Jimin to the point their brows raised.
"Whoa you can smile!" Aeri smacked the back of Minjeong's back. She stared at Aeri with a straight face which kind of scared Aeri. Even if she didn't mean to.
Jimin turned and went back into her office.
_________________A month passed and Minjeong's few weeks were simple, but dreadful.
Days go by and she was hoping she'd build a social life if she talked to others, but it seems that no matter how many times she's tried, no one seemed to care.
It's just as she expected. People would think of her as a secluded person, as if they were judging her as a bad person.
It bothered her day and night. What if she died with no one by her side? She had to do something.
But the few months that she's been working gave her nothing but money. The second thing she needed in life.
She made her final decision.
She's quitting.

Minjeong knocked and opened the door.
