It was the middle of December. The houses in the neighborhood were decorated in Christmas lights, the stores were filled with people out buying gifts for the upcoming holiday, and the radio was filled with classic Christmas music.

And Minjeong's favorite part of the year, The snow. She loved how it fell to the ground, painting the entire lawn and roads outside pure white. It reminded her of ice shavings falling from the sky and it amazed her every time.

Her favorite thing to do was to go out and play in the fresh snow with Jimin and it's been awhile since she was able to do that with how busy Jimin was. She just hopes the older girl wasn't as busy as she was last year.

The year before, Jimin was out at work during the holidays all day and night and she could only spend the new years with Minjeong. This year, Jimin was guaranteed she'd be free and less busy than usual so she could hangout with the person she loves most.

"Jimin! Jimin!"

"I'm home Minjeong!" The younger girl ran over to the older girl, wrapping her arms and legs around Jimin with excitement.

"Whoa! What happened?" Jimin laughs, as she holds Minjeong, who was wrapped around her.

"I'm just so excited we could spend the holidays together." Minjeong had a huge smile on her face. Seeing the excitement in the younger girl's face made Jimin smile too.

"I'm more excited to spend the holidays with you. Without you during the holidays just isn't fun." Jimin pouted, gently pinching the younger girl's cheek. Jimin walked over to the living room to set Minjeong down and proceeded to take off her blazer.

The younger girl looked out to see a bunch of snow, falling into their front yard. She was eager to play out in the snow with Jimin.

"Ooh ooh, Baby we should play in the snow today!" Minjeong stares out the window, dazed by the bright snow falling from the sky. Jimin watched Minjeong look out the window, thinking about how lucky she is to have such a wonderful girlfriend to spend quality time with. She loves Minjeong a lot and if she had to spend time with her for the rest of her life, She'd be happy to do so.

"We should! You have your snow gear, do you?" Jimin asks, walking over to the kitchen for a glass of water.

The older girl always made sure Minjeong had proper gear when she's out in the snow. There were numerous times when Minjeong would injure herself or catch a cold from improper snow gear.

"I do, and I didnt lose my gloves this time." Minjeong is the #1 person in Jimin's life that loses important things from time to time. Eventually, she'll find them and keep them safe for Minjeong so she doesn't lose them again.

"Alright then how about we go out there in an hour?" Minjeong jumps after hearing those words leave Jimin's lips and runs over to give the older girl a big warm hug.

"This Christmas is gonna be the best." Minjeong giggles.

By the next hour, the whole entire neighborhood was flooded and packed with snow which is what both the girls wanted. Jimin made sure with the younger girl that she got everything she needed before heading out.

"Hat?"

"Check!"

"Scarf?"

"Got it!"

"Your gloves?"

"I Got em on,"

"Your snow pants?"

"Yup!"

"And your jacket?"

Minjeong looked at herself then ran over to the room to grab her jacket.

"Ok, ok, I have it now!" Jimin smiles and checks herself one last time before heading to the door.

"Alright, and your boots?" Minjeong walked over to the closet near the door and grabbed her snow boots out along with Jimin's.

"Ready to have fun?" Jimin asked, cupping the girl's cheeks.

"I'm ready baby." She smiles and pecks the older girl on the lips, running out the door. Jimin closes the door, running into the fresh soft snow.

"Come back Minjeong!" Jimin laughs as she's chasing the younger girl. She finally caught up and grabbed Minjeong down into the snow with her. Both girls fell, chuckling with joy.

"Let's make snow angels." Jimin suggested, as she got up to find a fresh patch of snow to lay onto. Minjeong followed her and laid next to her, grabbing her hands.

Afterwards Both carefully got up admiring each other's snow angels, smiling in satisfaction

"Yours is so pretty, babe." Minjeong compliments, hugging the older girl.

"Yours is way prettier." Jimin kissed the girl on the cheek, pulling her in for a hug. Even if it was cold out, Jimin was the only person keeping Minjeong warm inside during the cold weather.

"The angels are gonna fade later tonight from the heavy snow." Jimin sighed. She looked over to the younger girl to see her sulking.

"I wish it'll never fade." The next second Minjeong looked around and couldn't find the older girl anywhere in sight.

A tiny squeal came from Minjeong the second a snowball hits her back.

"Yah!" She chuckled, as she bent down to make a snowball. Jimin watched as Minjeong ran towards her each step of the way, making a bigger snowball.

Minjeong flung the snowball but it missed Jimin by a little, she frowned but watching the loud laughter the older girl gave from afar, made Minjeong's frown turn into a giant smile.

Jimin found it fun having the time to laugh and play around with the younger girl despite their busy schedules.

Even if Jimin was tired from work, she'd do anything to have fun with her girl. Anything to make Minjeong happy because seeing the younger one happy was everything she needed to complete her life.

Hours passed, the snow was getting a little thicker and both girls were exhausted from their snowball fight and sledding on the tiny slope in front of their house.

"I think this is good enough for today." Minjeong said, sniffling a little. The older girl giggled, giving a hand to the short haired girl. She got up from the tiny sled and brushed herself off.

Jimin's plan after this was to sit by the fireplace in the living room with Minjeong, cuddling her and maybe some hot cocoa to finish the day.

"You go in first and shower, I'll meet you there shortly okay?" Jimin shot a reassuring smile and watched as Minjeong walked back into the house.

_____________

8:35 pm

Both of the girls had a warm soothing bath together, and once they got out, Jimin started the fireplace and played some calming Christmas music to fit the relaxing mood. Prancing to the kitchen, Jimin made both her and Minjeong's favorite hot cocoa and set it on the coffee table. She grabbed some blankets and pillows sitting by the fireplace, waiting for Minjeong to come.

"I'm here!" Minjeong skipped over with a big smile to Jimin, getting underneath the same blanket the older girl was in.

"This is nice," the younger girl sighed, resting her head against Jimin's shoulder.

"Glad you like it, I also got you hot cocoa but it's probably cold now." Jimin scratched her neck. Minjeong giggled and grabbed her cup, carefully drinking it.

"It's still warm, I like it!" Jimin smiled, kissing the short haired girl on the lips.

Both girls cuddled to the calming sounds of Christmas music and the warmth of the fireplace. Minjeong closed her eyes thinking about the best day she had this afternoon, knowing that Jimin was right beside her for comfort, and love.

Words can't express the million emotions she's feeling at this very moment for the older girl and she just wants Jimin to know.

"I love you Jimin."
