Prom is in just a few days and Karina is not planning on going since she doesn't find any fun in prom. "Karina, come on! You have to go with us." Aeri begged, getting a grip of the older girl's arms. "Yea! If you don't go, we'll be alone.." Ningning said, as she grabbed onto Jimin's other arm, pouting. She feels like she's under peer pressure. There's no way she'll be going to any school party event or special school events, even if it's her last year in high school. That's even better since she doesn't need to go to any more school parties after she graduates.

"I'll think about it." Jimin answers, just so she could get it off her chest. She knows damn well she won't be going though.

She spoke too soon.

Thursday arrives and Karina has two days to make up her mind. Prom was on a Saturday and on Saturday's, Karina doesn't really have anything to do. No work, no assignments to do, no chores since she's finished them up, and that leaves her with a lot of free time. She wished she did have something to do on the weekends, anything but Prom.

"Rina?" No answer.

"Rinaaa~" Yeji, her algebra buddy waves her hands over Karina's face, trying to get the attention of the zoned out girl.

"Huh? What?" Karina answers, blinking twice. That's when reality hits her back.

"You've been really zoned out this week. What's bothering you?" Yeji asks, looking into the girl's blank eyes. Karina kept thinking about Saturday, she's gotta keep herself busy somehow.

"It's Prom. Ning and Aeri are begging me to go, but I don't want to." Karina was frustrated, not sure what to do. Yeji looked somewhere else, thinking of something to say.

"Well, why don't you wanna go?" A voice came from behind, it was Kim Chaewon, a friend of Karina's from dance. She sat down next to Yeji, looking at Karina with a tiny smile.

"The truth is, a week ago Aeri set me up on a prom date with Jake and I'm really not a big fan of Jake. Ever since then, Jake wouldn't stop calling or texting me."

Chaewon and Yeji looked at each other, eyes wide open. "How could you not like Jake? He's hot, talented, smart, he's everything!" Both counted.

"If anything, you're lucky you get him." Chaewon added, crossing her arms. Karina was taken aback, but she still wasn't sure if she should go to prom with him or not.

"Well what's your reason for not liking him?" Yeji asks, drinking her water. Chaewon nodded along as she looked at Karina with a desperate look.

Karina likes females rather than males. In other words, she's gay but none of her friends knew and she's not planning on telling them anything about her sexuality.

She looked at Chaewon then Yeji, and sighed. "I don't like Jake because I'm not interested in guys." Both the girls' faces looked confused but shocked at the same time. "So.. you're saying you don't like guys?" Yeji asked, processing if what Karina said was clear.

"I'm gay." Karina stated. That put a stunned look on both Yeji and Chaewon's face. Their mouths hung open as both of them looked at each other. "Rina, you never told us!" Chaewon exclaimed, looking at both Yeji and Karina.

"Consider yourself special cuz you're the firsts I've told." Both girls squealed and Clapped, as if they were proud of Karina but she found it funny. "So what should I do?"

"Well tell them you're gay, that's what." Yeji suggested. Karina felt nervous about that, telling Ning and Aeri she was gay somehow terrified her a bit.

"Ok.." the girl sulked as she waved goodbye to the two girls, heading to her next class. As she's walking in the halls, she hears someone call her name from afar.
