A bit short?? Anyway, enjoyyy!

Winter doesn't do affection.

And someone has to get that into Karina's brain because whenever she's near winter, it seems like she can't keep her eyes off of her.

Mainly, it's because of how awkward it was whenever she received affection. She didn't know what to do.

As a friend, Karina likes to show up at Winter's house every day at exactly 7 in the morning to walk to school with her, escort her back home, and never miss a day too.

When winter's sick, the girl becomes the doctor. When winter wants something Karina doesn't hesitate to get it for her within a snap of a finger.

The back hugs Karina would give the girl, Winter hates it when people are clingy but with Karina she made an exception even if she didn't really like it.

The times their hands interlaced because Karina was scared she'd lose Winter in the crowd.

Winter doesn't even get why Karina was like this, why was she being so kind to her?

Winter still remembers the time Karina gave her a letter every single day in middle school, she still has every one of them since she didn't know what to do with them.

She did admit, it was fun reading them though.

But now as adults, they spend their time bonding together.

Winter doesn't think much of Karina. She's her friend and she's glad Karina was.

However Karina thought of winter as more than just a friend.

Standing in a showroom, both winter and karina were at an art gallery walk.

Winter shows a lot for art, it's a way to inflict emotions.

Karina's just there for winter.

Winter admires each piece of art close with detail, focusing on seeing how each abstract was made in different perspectives.

"The perspective seems to be very odd, but it hold some type of sense, or like an emotion in it." Winter spoke to Karina.

"Yuh huh-" Karina stared with a smile.

Karina's also focusing hard admiring a work of art.

The work of art being Winter.

It's her favorite thing to do, she liked to stare at winter. Something about Winter's warm features melted Karina. She could stare without blinking all day if she wanted.

From the corner of winter's eye of course she can see Karina staring and she lets out a sigh.

Not again-

"For the hundredth time Rina, stop looking at me like that-" winter turns to look at the girl.

"Whatt?? I can't stare at you and admire you?"

"Why would you though? That's weird-" winter looked away, her ears slightly burning.

She believed that there was nothing special about herself. There should be no reason this tall girl should look at her.

"Ykno you should be featured in this gallery too Win, you're literally a work of art, born a whole masterpiece." Karina dramatic angles her hands
obnoxiously, creating a crowd of people giggling.

Seems like Karina's the only girl that can make Winter bright red and it's not from being flustered, more of embarrassment. She doesn't know.

Winter smacked the girl on the arm before pulling her away and out of the show room.

"You and your girlfriend are so cute!" A woman they walked by complimented.

"Thank you!" Karina stuck her head out to reply as winter still dragged her away.

They arrive outside of the show room, a tint of red still on Winter's face. "Can you stop playing around!?" She looked around.

"What do you mean?" Karina tilted her head to the side, a pout on her lips.

"Stop making a fool out of me-" Winter covered her face, it was turning redder and redder.

"Aww, cmon Win I'm just speaking the truth a moment ago over there." Karina pried Winter's hand down from her face.

"Why do you like calling me your girl—it's not even funny!"

Winter doesn't get it, and Karina doesn't seem to get why winter doesn't get it.

"And Why are you always looking at me, staring at me as if I'm someone special, or how you always care for me? I can take good care of myself!" Winter retorts.

She knows how Winter can be at times like these, she just wished Winter would understand what affection was.

"Minjeong," Karina grabbed the girl's hand.

"don't you see? The times I've looked at you, the times I was there for you, do you ever have a clue on why?"

Because no one in this world would look at winter the way Karina did, no one in the world would be there for winter like how Karina was. No one ever loved Winter the way Karina loved Winter.

Winter stood there with her thoughts trying to put themselves together but it just wouldn't.

Growing up, Winter never got close to a single person. She refused because if she did, she'd get attached to someone that might not even care for her.

She didn't want that.

So seeing Karina be all so affectionate, it was all so new to her.

She didn't think Karina would be in love with her though. If she was, that would've been crazy.

"I'm doing all of this because I like you." Karina looked the girl in the eye. Her round hazel doe eyes, one she could never stop staring at.

Winter's quiet. More silent than the wind blowing past them.

"Why would you like me though.."

As hard as it was to tell the girl how much she liked her, it was almost harder to make winter believe in Karina's words.

She pulled the girl closer by her waist. "Winter you're  so much more than you think you are."

"Even if you think you're not much, to me you've got everything. You're perfect just like this." There's a reassuring smile on Karina's face.

It's enough to make winter notice and realize that Karina really did mean it.

And Karina was back at staring again, this time at winter's lips.

They're were right there, so close and all she wanted was to kiss her.

Her lips were sealed with a kiss, Karina's hand cupping the back of her neck as both their eyes closed.

That feeling of comfort, winter's hand grabbing onto Karina's leather jacket as the girl guided her lips against the younger one.

Winter felt a sense of warmth wash over her, chest racing as the realization all starts to make sense.

Fluffyyy :O
