••Use of alcohol and mild intimacy teasing••
Jimin stretched and yawned, feeling exhausted from the work she's been doing. Who knew that being a barista would be so exhausting? Well, it is but She loves making drinks and coffee with a passion and there's no way she'd give it up. It's the way of life for Jimin. Her brain consists of many drink ideas floating in her head.
It's currently 2:30 in the morning and she needs to get her sleep in. She's been working on a recipe lately hoping that it'll taste great. Even if it's just a simple Americano with honey and lemon mixed in it.
She woke up 3 hours later and got ready to open up her shop, still tired from this whole week. She's only slept at least a couple hours each day and it's not enough to keep her running.
To keep herself awake she charges up through coffee, which probably isn't healthy but it'll do. Still not enough though. She works at a cafe near a campus and usually college students would come in for a cup of coffee or food. She finds time during breaks to work on her recipe.
She sets the Espresso machine on and starts grinding the coffee beans into powder, adding it to the filter.
A couple of minutes later, a woman around her 20's walks in. She had dark shiny hair, she had on some baggy jeans and a huge blazer with a white shirt underneath. The look on the woman's face was emotionless, cold, and dark. Jimin could feel the room become cold and gloomy.
"uh, Welcome." She hesitates. Usually she'd greet the customers with joy and welcoming energy but something about this woman that walked in threw her off. The woman pulled a chair out near a counter bar and sat right in front of Jimin, Staring right into the older girl's eyes.
"W-what drink are you feeling?"
Minjeong trails her eyes over the menu displayed above Jimin, then looks down at the drink that was left on the counter behind the older girl.
"Can you make me that drink?" Jimin looked in the direction of the younger girl's eyes and her eyes widened. The new drink? But the new drink isn't done yet, and it wasn't ready to be put out for sale.
"I'm sorry but that drink isn't out yet, that's just a sample to test."
The younger girl looked at Jimin with brows raised. It sent chills down the life girl's spine.
"Well can I be the first customer to test it out?" The girl smirked. Jimin's heart was running a marathon and she wasn't sure if it's because of the younger girl's request or if it's just her presence.
"But-" the younger girl's gaze was so strong, Jimin didn't feel like fighting back. The older girl gulped in fear as she went to make her 'signature' drink.
She added two shots of espresso, with water. At this point it's an Americano Except there were a few things she added into the drink.
Salt, Honey and Lemon. Although, it's pretty normal to add lemon into coffee to cut down the bitter taste but that's just how she made it
She gave her simple drink over to the girl and the girl looked at it for a couple of seconds, before smelling it. Jimin's heart felt like it could explode the second the other girl took a sip.
"Look, it's-"
The girl cut Jimin off before she could explain anything.
"Salt, Honey, and lemon."
"It's simple." The younger girl added, lifting her eyes to look at Jimin. The older girl felt something inside, like she felt some type of fear towards the younger girl. A fear that felt good.
