Karina will never. Ever. Take candies from Aeri's purse ever again. Maybe.
She still asks herself why she'd do that, or why Aeri would have such a type of candy in her bag.
Sitting in Aeri car alone, Karina wants Aeri to come back from her quick shopping errand
and while Aeri was busy shopping, Karina took that time to explore The girl's car.
Looking around, she noticed how neat everything was, as if the car was brand new.
She poked on the air freshener hanging in the middle of the car, smiling to herself.
She opened each compartment only to find random coins and bills laying around.
Then she came across Aeri's purse which Aeri didn't bring with her Into the store. She must've forgotten.
And Karina had this urge to dig through the purse. Well, it is her best friend after all. As long as she doesn't steal money from it.
She peeks and sees barely nothing but a wallet and a few vibrant colored items in the bag.
And Karina didn't hesitate to find out what those vibrant colors were, she was curious.
but they were just lollipops.
Either way she took one out and read the wrapper. 'Horny suckerz' in bold white print.
"Weird.. but cool!" She mumbled to herself.
Karina just blinks, not sure what that meant and to make it worse she unwraps the candy and proceeds to put it in her mouth.
More than a few minutes passed and Aeri came running back to the car, opening the door.
"I forgot my wallet in my purse." She rummaged through her bag.
The girl didn't get the time to look at the older one, she ran back in to pay for the items before coming back in the car.
She starts the engine before putting her Wallet back into her bag.
And that's when she pauses as she finds one sucker missing. She just hopes that when she turns to look at karina, there isn't one in her mouth.
But it was too late when she looked back. "Uh, Rina."
"Hm?" Karina's mouth was occupied by the pink sucker.
"where'd you find that sucker..?" The younger one had this eerie look on her face, almost like she was in fear.
"Oh, in your bag. I thought I'd just take one." Karina takes the sucker out of her mouth with a pop and it leaves a glossy finish on her lips.
Her stomach drops. Aeri wasn't okay with it. it would've been fine if they were normal suckers.
But they weren't.
"Rina, you do know what those are, right?"
Karina stares in confusion because she doesn't get why her friend was panicking over a sucker.
"A sucker." Karina blinks.
The younger girl sighs in frustration with fingers pinching her nose Bridge. "Didn't you read the wrapper??"
Thinking back to the wrapper, Karina did catch a huge glimpse of those bold letters reading 'Horny Suckerz' but what's the biggie?
"I did!" Karina responded, almost like a cheer.
And bless her innocent soul, she doesn't even know what those suckers were intended for.
"Karina, you shouldn't be eating that thing."
