Today was one of those nerve racking days for Minjeong.

She was meeting her best friend 10 years later and it was exciting because she hasn't seen her best friend since grade school.

Now they're 20. and in the process of turning 20, Minjeong got a girlfriend that she loves with all her heart.

They've been dating for a few years now actually. They knew each other from high school.

And it's Karina's first time meeting her girlfriend's bestie.

"Are you ready?" Minjeong asked the older girl.

"Yeah." Karina smiles.

Karina on the other hand felt doubtful for some reason.

Minjeong had been bothering her lately about this childhood friend and the memories they had together.

And everytime winter talked about that certain friend, Karina always seemed to feel upset by the end of their conversation.

Things like how they'd have sleepovers every weekend as kids, how they both share so much in common, how much winter missed her best friend..

Why would Karina tell Winter to stop? That would've been rude so she keeps to herself most of the time.

Just then the doorbell rings and winter takes one deep breath in before answering the door.

The moment the door opens, her best friend leaps in her arms with a scream.

A scream that startled Karina, she was practically watching her girlfriend scream of joy in another girl's arm.

She grits her teeth in annoyance but she can't do anything, that's her girlfriend's best friend.

"Yujin!!" Winter smiles and jumps.

"Oh my god Winnie it's been awhileee~" yujin pouts as she walks into the house.

Hearing that nickname being Spoken rang into Karina's mind. She didn't even realize that her hands were in a tight fist.

Yujin spotted Karina standing at the kitchen counter, and gasped with a smile.

"You must be Karina, Winter's girlfriend!"

"Yea." Karina puts on the most forced smile on earth.

Winter just laughs, shaking it off as she guides Yujin to the living room.

"Your place is super nice," Yujin nods.

"Thanks! Could you wait here for a bit? I need to check up on Karina." Winter excuses herself.

She gets to the kitchen and finds Karina quite aggressively wiping the counters with a rag and a spray bottle in her hands.

"Babe, come join me in the living room." Winter smiles but seeing the glaring look in Karina's eyes, she frowns.

"Baby what's wrong?" She sets her hands around Jimin's waist, pulling her in.

"Nothing." Karina loosens from winter's touch. There's definitely something wrong and winter couldn't help but notice it.

"Come on baby, tell me." Winter grabs onto her hand.

Karina just shakes her head. "It's nothing, just go."

At first winter stood there without words, but then she walked away feeling confused.

"Is everything alright?" Yujin asks as she sees Winter return.
