Corey cleared his throat in front of his eight jittery brothers. "I have called you all here today because this silence has got to end. It has been far too long, and I want to be the first to apologize, as we should all do, regardless of whether we were right or wrong or both."

"But more importantly, I have called upon you to embark on a serious mission with me. I have learned a piece of information that is so time sensitive, so critical that it can be ignored no longer."

"Just tell us, man," Noah begged impatiently.

"Oh I'll tell you. You may be wondering where Scarlett and Ella are, and they are definitely not at Ella's. Not at all. They are on a weekend trip with Gage and his friends in the Hamptons." His anticipating crowd gasped. "But that is not all. I was talking with Gage's friend, a trusted source, who slipped up and told me that Gage is going to try and get with Scarlett tonight.

"Now you may be thinking 'Corey, who cares, she's not going to do it,' but I wouldn't be so sure. Because Gage is purposefully getting everyone drunk except for himself so that he can do whatever he pleases." Fear and disgust washed over the crowd. "Now as her brothers, we must protect our dearest Scarlett from this terrible fate. Who's with me?" The crowd cheered.

"Well what the fuck are we waiting for then?"

It took 3 precious hours to find the location of the house. Brandon, always the genius, found the Airbnb pinned on Scarlett's desktop, and they immediately set off. They piled into three cars, leaving room for Scarlett and Ella.

"Why didn't we just check Scarlett's location on our app?" Max wondered, making all the brothers shoot him death glares.

"Why didn't you fucking remind us we had that!" Liam yelled back.

"Don't be mad at me! You guys clearly forgot, so who's really the problem?"

Cue the bickering...

-

Two hours of speeding later and they arrived at a little house in the Hamptons. "This is it, boys," Noah said as the designated Google maps man.

"I hear voices in the backyard," Corey noted as they crept up to the door. "Let's not knock. Let's go around."

They snuck around the edges of the house, squeezing between the wall and the fence. "This is no light work," Gabe laughed.

They froze, hearing a flurry of Gage's "pleases"—they knew they were right on time.

"Gage, leave her alone," Brandon demanded, looking around at all the shocked faces.

For a moment, he had no idea how Scarlett would react. She could yell at him for coming, for cock blocking her, for even speaking to her, anything was on the table. He knew she was probably obliteratedly drunk. Instead of saying anything at all, she ran and hugged him, gesturing for everyone to get in.

"Thank GOD you guys are here," she whispered.

His heart sank knowing that what the brothers thought they stopped was exactly true. Gage was trying to take advantage of her.

"Bro, I wasn't trying anything. I was just asking her to get out of the hot tub so Ella could hook up with Cam," Gage insisted. Ella gasped, but said nothing as her posture sank.

"Get out of here Gage,"  Liam ordered. "We'll pay you for the house if you and your friends just get the fuck away."

"You guys can't be serious. I would never do that to Scarlett."
