Scarlett
I was waiting for Ella to come over and was currently in the living room with Gabe and Reece.
Ella actually went home for once because she had to have a family dinner.
"Hey, bro!" I heard someone greet at the door.
Curious, I turned my head and awaited their passing.
I couldn't believe my eyes.
Parker and Clay strolled by, busy in conversation already, and up the steps.
"Holy fucking shit bitch fuck dick bitch!" I spat, hitting both Reece and Gabe as my eyes remained glued on the staircase.
"Ow! Scar, stop! What?" Gabe replied, peeling my hands off him.
"Parker and Clay are hanging out!"
"And?" Reece trailed, confused.
"And? And he is like totally a bad omen!"
"A what?"
"Parker and Gage? The same Parker I thought you all disliked?!"
Reece and Gage looked at each other before Gabe spoke.
"Scar, we are friends with Parker?"
Gabe was just as confused as Reece.
"I thought you guys didn't like him?"
"I mean, I personally am not the most fond of him, but him and Clay got tight," Gabe explained.
I lowered myself further into the couch and dropped my head. "Oh."
Reece sighed. "What's the matter, Scar?"
"I just figured after all he did to me you guys wouldn't bring him in this house."
My mood dropped faster than the speed of light. I could not process why Clay would be okay with this, why any of them would.
After about two seconds I finished my statement. "and to Ella."
"I mean, after the whole Fiona thing," Reece voiced, "I don't think Parker is all lovey-dovey in reference to Gage, either."
"He was there when Gage did everything to me. He didn't help me, nor did he defend on my behalf to others. You guys are supposed to be on my side."
"Scarlett-," Gabe began, but I kept speaking.
"You guys are protective twenty-four-seven, but not now? This is disrespectful, as Brandon would say."
I began getting overwhelmed, feeling as if I could cry at any moment. I was spamming Ella's phone to arrive as soon as possible. I wanted to at least keep the tears in until she came.
Then a tiny tear drop fell. Too late.
"Scarlett!" Reece exclaimed, pulling me into a hug.
"She's right, I'm going to get the rest," Gabe sided with me, leaving.
"I'm here! I am here!" Ella shouted, running into the house.
She looked at who was consoling me and gagged. "Reece, move."
"I'm fine," I said, wiping away the last tear. I hadn't been crying hard, anyways.
"I am going to go up there and give them a piece of my mind," Ella growled, but Reece pulled her back down.
Gabe returned with the rest of the brothers and Ella was quick to start scolding.
"I thought there was an agreement made to not bring people in the other siblings did not want, hmm? Disrespectful ring a bell, Brandon?"
