"Yo, you guys ready? Jake is outside!" Liam shouted from downstairs, causing Ella and I to shoot each other a look.

"Did we forget about plans?" she asked me, but I was wondering the same thing.

We threw on hoodies and walked downstairs in confusion.

"Bro, I told you to tell them they can't come," Brandon glowered, speaking as if Ella and I were not present.

"I forgot," Max mumbled, going over to put his shoes on.

"Can't come where?" Ella questioned, crossing her arms.

"To a group hangout with the boys," Liam stated, turning around to join Max by the door.

"Bro, you told me there would be girls," Corey whined, earning a smack upside the head from Brandon. Clearly he didn't get the hint that they were lying to us, but we sure did.

"And why can't we come?" I now asked them, honestly very confused.

My brothers never intentionally don't invite Ella and I somewhere, never.

"You guys are annoying," Clay kept short and 'sweet.'

"How so?" Ella snorted with disbelief.

"Puerto Rico ring any bells," Gabe reminded us, "any?"

My head shot in his direction. "Gabe, even you don't want us there?"

He ignored me as he pulled out his phone to text Asher that they needed a few more minutes.

"Look, we haven't forgiven you two for fucking around with every friend we brought there," Brandon explained, leaning his body against the back of the couch.

"Some twice," Reece added, scoffing.

"We were heartbroken!" Ella exclaimed irritatedly.

"You guys have brought home multiple girls a night and fucked them, yet we didn't complain!" I shouted, angry now myself.

Ava ring any bells, Clay?

"That is so different, Scar," Noah laughed with a tone clear he was not finding any of this funny whatsoever.

"It isn't, though," Ella shot back, earning multiple eye-rolls from the bunch.

"We already told the guys you guys won't be joining us in the future and they told us they understand. Now go back upstairs," Brandon hissed.

What the fuck?

"No."

"We're coming."

"You guys are not coming," Zach scolded, "end of story."

"Zach!" Ella reprimanded, but he had a quick reply.

"Go upstairs."

Ella and I couldn't believe our ears. My brothers were never like this. Why are they this angry?

"You guys always try and screw us over by getting with our friends to make us mad," Liam raged, "we're sick of it!"

Reece joined in. "And it is not funny. We are done being so lenient and understanding. Realize you guys fuck up a lot."

Every word was like a dagger to our hearts. Why did they wait this long to vent this out to us?

"We don't think straight, sure, but-," Ella began, but Clay cut her off.

"Save it. You guys aren't coming no matter what phony apology you muster up."

"You guys are being such dicks!" I retorted, my blood boiling.
