Scarlett
Well, here Ella and I are. We are standing on Gage's front door step at three in the morning during spring break. That is a sentence I never thought I'd have to say. I mean, who's surprised?
Ella barely got a full knock in when the door swung open, revealing a wide-grinned Gage.
"Look what the cat dragged in," he joked.
We shoved past him, bringing out bags in. "Oh, shush!"
"Hey, guys," someone greeted.
We turned our attention to the house. It was nice. Like, insanely nice.
Fuck you, Max.
The person was Parker, smiling.
"Oh, hey, Park," Ella replied. I smiled and nodded at him.
I sort of forgot all his friends are here.
Anyways, back to this crazy home.
It was modern, yet remained cozy. There was a ton of natural stone and lots of ocean blues. The living room had three leather couches, its skin well taken care of. There were also two recliners and this was all beside a warm fireplace.
The kitchen had an open layout and was spacious even with the large island. The dining room contrasted the rest of the house by being wood-based.
The patio led down to the beach, like our home. The bedrooms, at least six from what we saw, were all individually designed to fit different personalities which was cool.
"Gage, who paid for this place?"
"My dad," he shrugged.
"Sick, right?" Jayden chirped, rubbing a towel through his wet hair. I guess he went late-night swimming?
Early morning? Late night? I don't know!
"Max was supposed to book us this place," I explained, "but clearly he screwed up."
"Bitch," Ella mumbled.
"Oh, yeah," Parker came closer, "Clay was telling me about that."
"You're really close with Clay, huh?" I asked him.
"Um, yeah, I'd say," he nodded, hands on his hips. He was in a dad-like stance.
"Alright, enough chit-chat," Gage ran over to a bag and pulled something out, "it's time to have fun."
It was a bottle of Tequila.
"Gage, it's three in the morning. We just got back from the club and over the drunk-feeling," Ella commented, but couldn't help letting a small giggle slip.
"Come on, guys, "it'll just help get your mind off everything!"
"Ella and Scarlett turning down a drink? That's crazy," Wesley teased.
Kane, Parker, Gage, Wesley, Jayden, Dylan, Cooper, Joe, and Logan were all here. Those are Gage's main friends. We haven't mentioned most of them in quite some time, but here we are.
"I don't know," I said, sighing.
Gage poured two shots and held them out. "I know you want to."
After another minute of him attempting to convince us, we ultimately gave in.
One turned two, two turned three, you know how this goes.
"Wait, so let me get this straight," Gage, totally sober might I add, tried to clarify, "Zach got mad at you because you were helping Reece get girls?"
