Chapter 8 - Head turner

Jhoanna's POV:

Alone, sitting here inside the cottage while facing my laptop. Today marks the beginning of our family's trip to Laguna. It's a private resort owned by my parents.

This is supposed to be a family outing, so I'm here with some of my friends, tagging along like they're part of the family. They brought along some of their friends too, most of whom they met in a dance competition.

Some are in the swimming pool, while the older folks are either sleeping or resting inside the house. We arrived here around 12 pm, and it's almost 3 pm now.

I wasn't supposed to work today, but some reports came in that need my revision. With my everyday workloads, this is just another task for me.

I'm almost done when a loud scream grabs my attention. It's coming from my friends, Ate Maloi and Stacey, so I followed to see what they were screaming about.

It was a girl wearing a two-piece swimsuit, but she had shorts on and an unbuttoned shirt. I couldn't see her face clearly because she was facing sideways, and her face was not visible.

Her body shape was attractive, and the way she stood showed confidence in her body. Who wouldn't scream at the sight of that? She's sexy, merong abs, ho---

"Damn! Is that really her?!"

I couldn't continue with my thoughts as the girl turned to face me. My jaw dropped instantly when I realized who she was. It's Nicolette.

I admit my friends are also stunning and sexy, being dancers and all. But when she approached the pool with my friends, she stood out the most.

None of the others had caught my attention in their two-piece swimsuits. Except her.

All eyes were on her. My friends in the pool were all admiring her, and she couldn't help but smile.

But then I got flustered when she suddenly emerged from the pool and walked straight towards me.

"SHIT!"

Why is everything slowing down? Pati paglakad niya bumabagal. And I can't take my eyes off sa katawan nito. Paano ba naman kasi, ibinabalandra niya, ba't pa kasi nagpolo kung hindi naman ibobotones.

Colet: *Ehem* Bigla akong natauhan ng magsalita ito. Doon ko lang na-realize na my attention was at her body at hindi sa laptop ko.

Shit nahuli pa. Agad naman akong umayos ng upo and look at her straight in the eyes, and my annoying secretary is now smirking teasingly.

Colet: "Looks like you're enjoying the view, Miss ma'am. Gorgeous and sexy ba? Or pwede na?" Natataranta ako at hindi ko alam kung bakit.

Walang lumalabas sa bibig ko. Gusto kong magsalita but seems like my brain isn't with me.

Colet: "Dapat pala ganito lagi suot ko para lagi kang behave HAHAHA." After she said that, she suddenly left me and headed straight towards the pool.

I was taken aback and needed a moment to process what had just happened, I even took a gulp of water to calm myself down.

"SHIT talaga! Word of the day talaga ang SHIT! Sobrang nakakahiya ka, pa Jhoanna! Baka isipin ng bwiset na 'yon na pinagnanasaan ko siya. Subukan niya lang talaga!"

Bigla nalang akong napasabunot sa ulo ko. Arghh kaasar. What did just happen to me? I replayed what happened earlier in my mind, and her body came to mind again, making my heart beat faster.

"Arghh! What's happening? Why is it affecting me so much!?"

Isinawalang bahala ko nalang ito at tiningnan ang lahat ng mga nasa pool. They were all having fun playing and laughing with my annoying secretary.
