Jhoanna's POV:

I'm currently heading back to my condo. Our team dinner just finished, thanks to our victory in the last dance charity competition.

Colet chose not to join our team dinner, despite our team's insistence. She was feeling shy, and she wants me to have some quality time with my teammates.

Since we're usually always together, she wanted me to spend this time with my fellow team members. So, I didn't push her to come along.

Before the team left, she mentioned picking me up, but I declined her offer. I thought it would be tiring for her to make the trip just to pick me up and then drive back again.

After a 30-minute drive, I reached the condo parking area. The road was wide and traffic-free due to the nighttime.

As I entered the building, the guards and staff greeted me, and I responded with a smile.

I felt a bit tired after an eight-minute dance, but it was completely worth it because our team emerged victorious. The competition was incredibly enjoyable and full of excitement. Everyone had a great time, pouring their heart and soul into their performances.

As I stand in the elevator now, anticipation builds as I think about reaching my condo and seeing Colet. Her presence seems to add significance to all the accomplishments and awards I've received.

Due to post-game interviews and team celebrations, we hardly had a chance to talk as the game finished. Throughout the team dinner, my thoughts were fixated on her. Even when I reached home, she was on my mind. I longed to hold her, to lie down next to her, and experience the comfort of her warm embrace.

I tried reaching out to her through messages, but sadly, there was no response. While I wanted to call and talk, I refrained from doing so, not wanting to dampen the team spirit by being on the phone. I had no choice but to wait for the celebration to end, hoping to head home soon.

I reached into my duffle bag to find my key. After locating it, I unlocked the door, filling the room with darkness.

“Looks like she fell asleep.” I murmured to myself.

Glancing at my phone, I noticed it was past 11 pm. I felt around the wall and found the light switch beside the door. When the light flooded the room, I was taken aback. My feet seemed glued to the floor, and I couldn't move my body.

Colet stood in the living room, holding a bunch of crocheted flowers, a radiant smile adorning her face. Behind her sat on the sofa, adorned with large stuffed toy chicks.

Balloons dangled from the ceiling, and a banner with my picture greeted me: Congratulations, Best Leader and Best Girlfriend.

Colet: “Welcome home, Master!” She beamed, approaching me with the handmade flowers. Her kiss landed on my cheek as she handed them over.

I'm amazed by what I'm witnessing. It caught me off guard. I even thought she might be asleep and resting at this point.

I swallowed, trying to comprehend everything. I gazed at her, attempting to determine if she and everything around me were real.
