Chapter 48 - Against

Jhoanna's POV:

Three days had passed since the incident at the parking lot happened. It has been three days since I saw her smiling, her bully side, and showing me her love.

Now, she's in a private room and I am beside her bed waiting for her to wake up on her third day of being sleeping beauty. Her condition is now stable and she just need a long recovery days to move normally.

I sat up from my seat and put the flowers I bought for her into the vase. I always visit her every day and I always buy her some flowers that she usually does for me before.

I tried to make crochet flowers just like what she always make for me, but it was so hard. And it made me fall for her deeper because she's always lending some time and effort just to make me those kind of flowers. Araw-araw tayong nagtatrabaho pero humahanap ka pa rin talaga ng oras para makagawa ng ganoong regalo.

When I am done fixing the fresh flowers, I went back to my seat beside her bed and gave Colet a peck on her lips. Then, I caress her hair.

“Kung gising ka lang, baka kanina ka pa nangingisay sa kilig hahaha.” I said and chuckled bitterly.

“Babu, baka gusto mo nang bumangon dyan? How long will you still sleep?” I kiss her forehead, hold her hand and brought it to my lips.

“I miss you so much, Nicolette. Nakaka-ilang kiss na ako sa'yo, sleeping beauty. Bakit hindi ka pa din nagigising? Sobrang miss na kita, mahal!” Usap ko rito habang dinadamdam ang kamay nito sa pisngi ko at binibigyan ng mumunting halik.

“Hayyy, alis muna ako, Babu. Bibisita nalang ako mamaya.” I bid her farewell and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before leaving her room.

Just as I stepped out of Colet's room, I saw Sheena and Jasmine in the hallway.

Jasmine: "Mommy Jho!" She greeted happily, running towards me with both hands raised.

I quickly sat down to meet her. As she approached, she immediately hugged me and kissed me on the cheek.

“Hello, Baby Ja! I missed you so much, kiddo!” I said and lightly patted her head.

Jasmine: “I niss you too, Mommy Jho! And I miss Mama too.” Usap nito at nagsimulang umiyak nang maalala niya ang kanyang kapatid na mahimbing ang tulog sa silid.

“Hey, Baby. Don't cry na, Mama is fine and she just need to recover.” I comforted the kid and it seems it worked because she wiped her tears away.

Sheena: “Baby Ja, may work pa si Mommy Jho mo.” Pagpapaalala nito sa bata kaya kumalas na ito sa pagkakayakap sa akin.

Jasmine: “Mommy Jho, when will you visit Mama again po?”

“Mabilis lang ako, Baby. I'll just visit the office then I'll be back here agad.”

Jasmine: “Sige po, Mommy Jho. I'll wait you here po with ate Sheena.”

“Okay, sige. Do you want me to buy something for you when I come back?” Tanong ko rito kaya naman tila nagningning ang mga mata nito.

Jasmine: “I want mojos po, a big pizza, and milktea po!” She exclaimed.

“Okay, little kiddo. Copy and noted.”

Sheena: “Ate Jho, si ate Cols nalang ang singilin mo paggising niya HAHAHAHA.” Biro nito dahilan para matawa kaming dalawa.

I immediately stood up and kissed Jasmine on the forehead before embracing her. I also hugged Sheena before leaving them.

I left accompanied by guards. Sheena and Jasmine also had guards with them in the hospital to ensure their safety.
