Colet's POV:

Again, we're heading to another possible hiding spot where they might have taken Jhoanna. Tito Yet and Papa are with me in the car. We left Mama and Jhoanna's mom at home to avoid adding to their worry. We're also with groups of policemen who will help rescue Jhoanna.

We need to get there fast to save her. My heart beats faster with each minute, and every second feels really important. I can't wait to get there.

Quietly, I look out the window, thinking about Jhoanna and hoping she's safe.

Papa: "Anak, kumalma ka lang." He calmed me down by tapping my shoulder.

"Ang hirap, Pa. Kapag si Jhoanna na po ang usapan, ang hirap kumalma lalo na't hindi ako siguradong ligtas siya sa lalakeng 'yon."

I expressed with a sad tone, feeling frustrated and stressed, as if I couldn't do anything to help.

Having Jhoanna in my life is risky, and the idea of losing her is unbearable. She needs me, and I have to rescue her. These thoughts filled my mind.

Papa: "Magtiwala ka lang, Nicolette. Mahahanap rin natin si Jhoanna."

Mr. Robles: "Jhoanna is a strong woman. Trust everything, we will find them soon and save Jhoanna." Both of them cheer me up.

"I'm feeling frightened about what Migo might do to her and worried about what will happen to her." I shed tears while admitting to both of them. As I wiped my eyes, I felt overwhelmed by the emotions stirred by everything happening around me.

I regret letting her go with Migo. I should have listened to her and gone to lunch with her. It's completely my fault that this terrible situation happened; it should never have happened. I bear responsibility for what happened.

I blame myself constantly. The idea of Jhoanna not being in my life is unbearable. Life without her by my side is something I can't even imagine. It's just too hard.

My dad hugged me to comfort me, and I felt Tito Yet's reassuring hand on my shoulder, which gave me a little bit of comfort and strength.

But still, tears kept flowing from my eyes. I wiped them away, trying to control my painful emotions. This isn't the time for sentimentality; Jhoanna is counting on me.

Despite the heavy feeling in my heart, it wasn't long before I remembered the words of the policeman who had been with us in the car.

Police: "Nandito na ho tayo sa lokasyon na nakalap natin sa mga tauhan ni Mr. Valid. It's positive that there are people in the place. It is not advised to approach them near the area dahil baka maalarma sila at makatakas na naman." The vehicle stopped on a street filled with brown dead leaves, swerving to avoid being detected by enemies. Then, the rest of the police officers who had been following us got out one by one.

Police: "We're going to head towards the place on foot. But, to ensure your safety, please remain here and avoid going towards to the location. Mr. Valid's men are equipped with powerful firearms, making it advisable for you to stay put. We'll handle things from this point onward." He spoke his words and then got out of the vehicle, leaving the three of us inside. After that, he joined his fellow officers, forming a group, while we stayed in the car, just watching.

Five policemen remained with us in the car. They were there to keep watch, preventing any potential escapes and making sure we were safe.

But I couldn't stand being passive in this situation, anxiously waiting for updates about Jhoanna's rescue. I'd rather face the worst circumstances than endure this nerve-wracking wait, longing for information from inside the car.
