Chapter 67 - Childhood friends

Jhoanna's POV:

Everyone's outside of the back of the old house preparing for a big food fest with different kinds of Filipino cuisines on the long table. Under the warm sunny day filled with warm smiles. Sharing the good vibes, making a day memorable for each and everyone.

In front of the big garden, they placed some tables and monoblocks for everyone's comfort during lunch. Big tents were brought outside by the boys, settling everything in places.

Everyone's taking action, lending a hand to have a beautiful, refreshing, and comforting surrounding. Of course, mockering and teasing each other has been part of our circle.

Yumi: “Maloi, do you need help?” She bravely asked the small girl, not letting the latter answer her and grabbed the half of stacked plates on Maloi's arms.

Maloi: “T-thank you.” She responded as her cheeks turned red.

Paolo: “That's my alaga right there! Naseminar talaga kita ng maayos!” He celebrated, clapping and jumping to what he witnessed.

Alice: “HAHAHHA alaga daw. Ginawa kang hayop, Bestie. Payag ka no'n?”

Gia: “Mukha namang pagong si Yumi eh. Masyado kasing mabagal kumilos HAHAHA” She added while her girlfriend Ella shook her head because of her girlfriend's naughtiness.

Yumi: “May syringe ako sa bag. Gusto niyo bang turukan ko kayo ng formalin?” She threatened but they just laughed at Yumi being short-tempered.

Brei: “Hoy conyong babaita! Mamaya ka na mamitas ng tulips dyan! Tumulong ka dito!” She yelled at the girl who was picking up some flowers in the beautiful garden of Vergaras.

Mikha: “Are you talking sa akin?” She asked, having no hint of what her friend said.

Brei: “Yes! You're so conyo talaga. Stop picking flowers and help us here! Hobby mo talaga mamitas tapos ibibigay mo lang kay Aiah, kaya naman niyan bumili ng isang buong flower shop.” The girl asked while placing the fork and spoon between the plates.

Mikha: “If you're jealous, shut your eyes! Echosera.” The younger girl fought back, making everyone laugh.

Franco: “Ang arte! 'Di nalang sabihin, 'Pag inggit, pikit!”

Joseph: “Staku, tulungan na kita dyan.” The boy to the rescue, grabbing the tablecloth from Stacey's arms.

Stacey: “Thank you.”

Brei: “Ay wow, kaninang ang dami kong bitbit na babasaging bowl, hindi mo ako tinulungan! Kaya naman ni Staku buhatin yung tela pero tinulungan mo?!”

Ella: “Kung makareklamo naman 'to. Bakit? Kasing ganda at tangkad ka ba ni Stakure? HAHAHHA”

Abby: “Ella talaga, minsan nalang magsalita, yung straight to the point pa HAHHAHA”

Joshua: “Tumatapang na si Sepsep HAHAHA Hindi na siya torpe.” He teased his best friend.

Joseph: “Hoy tigilan mo ko! Sumbong kita sa jowa mo na kaya hindi ka sumama sa hiking nila kasi takot ka sa heights!” He revealed that made everyone laugh even the Vergaras. Then he laid the cloth on the table.

Joshua: “Ito naman! Parang walang pinagsamahan eh, hindi ba sa'yo uso ang joke time?!”

Sheki: “Oh tama na ang harot at asaran ng makakain na tayong lahat.”

Gwen: “Sabi ng nakahawak sa kamay ni Ate Alice habang nilalantakan yung biko.” She butted in that made Ate Sheki rolled her eyes.

Sheena: “Ate Sheki, naglilihi ka po ba? Kanina ko pa po kayo nakikitang nagmumukbang dyan HAHAHAHA”
