Colet's POV:

Since the gathering in Bataan and the enjoyable beach outing near the Vergaras a few weeks ago, Jhoanna and I have been spending time together at her condo. Sometimes, she goes to the company to handle paperwork and then returns to her condo. We also go on dates, visiting restaurants or exploring different places. However, most of our time is spent watching movies together and ordering food. Occasionally, we visit my parents' house to see Jasmine.

Currently, I am at home because Mama called and informed me that Jasmine is unwell with a fever. She's been asking for me, wondering where I am and if I can take care of her. Mama sounded concerned, and I wish I had known about Jasmine's sickness earlier.

Jhoanna expressed her desire to join me, but she couldn't as she had to go to the office to sign important documents. When I learned that Jasmine was sick, I felt concerned, so I informed Jhoanna that I would visit Jasmine at home first.

After dropping Jhoanna off at the office, I headed straight home. Jhoanna kindly lent me her car to avoid commuting, and she planned to have the company driver take her to our house after finishing her paperwork. Upon reaching home, I immediately searched for Jasmine and found Mama and Papa conversing in the living room.

“Ma, Pa. Saan po si Jasmine?” I spoke to them a little worried while holding their hands towards my forehead.

Without hesitation, I headed directly to Jasmine's room. As I reached the top, I found her lying on the bed, covered in blankets. The moment she spotted me, her facial expression underwent an immediate transformation.

“Hello, Baby Ja! Ate Mama is here na.”

Jasmine: “Ate Cols, I miss you. I feel so sick.” She spoke weakly. I immediately rested my palm on her forehead, she was really burning hot.

“Have you taken medicine?” She just nodded in response. Her eyes are dark and tired of opening.

“Okay, good. Just rest, Baby.” I greeted her with a smile, taking her hand, but noticed she seemed somewhat lacking energy since she's sick.

Jasmine: “I want to pee, Ma.” She spoke suddenly. Soon after, my sister Sheena entered the room, and she was the one who assisted Jasmine.

While me, I fixed her bed. Then, after she peed, she returned to the bed with Sheena, and I assisted her in lying down.

“Would you like Ate Cols to assist you with anything? Should I prepare your favorite dish?” I asked her with a smile as I kissed her forehead as she lay down.

Jasmine: “Just want Ate Cols to stay here beside me.” She responded weakly, her voice was almost a whisper.

“Ate Cols will stay right here, so go ahead and rest. She'll be here, watching over you as you sleep.” I plant a gentle kiss on her forehead, noticing how she closes her eyes in exhaustion, seemingly too tired to speak. She clings tightly to my hand, unwilling to let go, and I allow her to do so.

Pulling a chair beside the bed, I settle down to watch over her as she rests. With care, I run my fingers through her hair, gently combing it.

After a few minutes of watching the poor little girl, she fell asleep.
