Chapter 38 - DanceCom Party

Jhoanna's POV:

Today's the day to celebrate the dance community. For the past few months, alumni dance groups have been participating in charities organized by the dance community.

Every dance charity competition aims an earning goal and it always exceeded the expectations of the organizers. In return, they gave a night for all the alumni.

I'm really not a party goer. I would rather have a party with my friends rather than with other people I am not close with. Pero syempre, sino pa nga ba ang pipilit sa akin dito?

If I don't go, they'll disturb me, tease me, report me to my parents, and more. That's how they blackmail me.

For the past few days, they've been in the office constantly, convincing me to attend the party, and they were successful.

Not only were they successful there, but they also bothered my secretary just to be able to accompany me today. At least hindi na ako ang laging pinupuntirya nila, dalawa na kami.

As usual, my secretary didn't do anything again. Even now, she still feels embarrassed. Paano kasi, walang hiya yung mga nagpupumilit.

I picked up my small purse and went out of my room. She's here, sitting comfortably on my sofa while waiting for me. When her eyes landed on my side, she was stunned with a small gap between her lips.

"Close your mouth, Babu. Baka pasukin ng langaw hahaha." I whispered on her left ear nang makalapit ako dito.

She was still staring at me blankly, so I reached out and gently closed her mouth with my hand.

Colet: "You're beautiful, Jho." she uttered, still in a daze.

"Oo na! Tama na kakatitig sa akin. It makes me uncomfortable." I said while cupping my hands on her eyes making herself let out small giggles.

Colet: "Your fault, Babu. You're beautiful naman every day, kaso sinobrahan mo lang ngayon." She said while uncovering her eyes. And her compliment made me blush.

"Ewan ko sa'yo. Umalis na tayo bago pa umatake kaharutan mo." Hinila ko na ito patayo sa sofa at sinunod naman niya ito.

Colet: "Babu, you better not leave my sight the whole party dahil baka manapak nalang ako bigla." Anya nito na ikinapagtaka ko.

Colet: "I swear, Babu. Marami kang mabibihag tonight and I don't want them to get near you."

"Nababaliw ka lang. Next time, drink your meds para hindi kung ano-ano ang pinagsasasabi mo. Tara na nga!" I said then grabbed her left wrist and pulled her outside my condo.

At the venue...

"We're here. Are you ready?" I asked after getting out of the car.

Colet: "Yes, I've been ready. I've also prepared my fists for those who will give you flirty looks and come close to you to hit on you." She replied irritably, which made me laugh.
