Chapter 24 - Drunk

Colet's POV:

It's almost 1 am, and everyone is enjoying the party, with most of Jhoanna's friends already drunk.

Beside me, my boss continues to drink alcohol non-stop. She's talkative and out of control, a far cry from the composed Jhoanna I know from the office.

She's carefree, without a hint of stress. She's just being herself. That's why I decided not to drink and just keep an eye on her.

She's so playful; she suddenly kisses my cheek and bursts into laughter. I'm sure she won't remember her antics when she wakes up tomorrow.

Jhoanna: "Babu, I love you." She says this, causing my eyes to widen in surprise. I'm taken aback when she kisses me, and her friends suddenly start cheering. It seems like they heard and saw it all.

Alice: “Mas lasing pa yata si Jho kay Nicolette kesa sa alak HAHAHHA Wala bang sagot dyan Nicolette?” Syempre, wala akong choice kaya pinagbigyan ko sila.

Sheena: “Yung manok ko, hindi 'yan nagpapatalo.”

“I love you too, Babu.” Then gave her a peck on the lips at bigla namang ngumiti si Jho habang papikit na ang mga mata nito.

Aiah: “Awww, that's so sweet.”

Maloi: “Grabe naman 'yun. 100% sugar yata yung naibudbod sa inyo!”

Gwen: “With pearls or crystal? HAHHAHAH” Kaya naman nagtawanan ang mga ito.

Mikha: “With high honors daw HAHAHAHA”

Stacey: “Hindiiii! With a smile daw HAHAHHAHA”

Sheena: “No! No! With regards dapat HAHAHHAHAH” Halos maaphiga na sa sahig ang mga ito kakatawa.

Brei: “HAHAHHAHA tama na kayo!”

Sheki: “Weh wala ka lang maisip ehhh.”

Brei: “Meron kaya!”

Sheki: “Sige ngaaa.”

Brei: “With all due respect. Oh diba, bagay sa'yo, ate HAHAHAHAH” Asaran ng mga ito kaya napailing nalang ako.

Kung ano-ano na rin ang mga pinaggagawa ng mga ito. *Kiss At bigla na naman akong hinalikan sa pisngi ng katabi ko.

When I looked at her, she was looking at her friends while trying to suppress her laughter, acting as if she hadn't done anything mischievous, so I just shook my head.

Sometimes, she rests her head on my arm, or she wraps her arms around mine. Sometimes, she gives me a soft kisses on my shoulder. Ang ligalig diba?

Nagulat naman ako nang bigla itong tumayo kaya naman inalalayan ko ito bago pa ito matumba. Haysss, ang kulit mo, Jho.

Jhoanna: “Good night, e—veryone. Matutulog na a-ako p-para hindi ko na m—akita ang mga pagmumukha n—iyo HAHAHAHA” Utal-utal na usap nito ngunit hindi na siya pinansin ng mga ito.

She tried to walk by her own pero muntik na naman itong matumba, buti nalang naalalayan ko agad.

“Tigas kasi ng ulo eh, sabi nang 'wag iinom ng marami.”

Jhoanna: “Thank you, Babu. Hihi.”

“Alis na po kami. Ate Alice, Sheena, ate Aiah una na kami ni Jho.” Usap ko sa mga hindi uminom at nagthumbs up lang ang mga ito.

I guided Jho to our room, her arm linked with mine, and I placed my hand on her waist to support her as we walked.

As we made our way, she suddenly started to sing. Hahaha hindi pa rin talaga siya maka-get over.
