Jhoanna's POV:
Coming from an eight hour activity outside, Colet was carrying Jasmine who was sleeping straight to its room to change the kid's clothes and continue its slumber on the soft comfy bed.
Jasmine made the most of it today. All of her energy was worth it for today's fun activity. The picnic went well and she rode the horse again for the second time.
Her smile was infectious. It's like a virus, when you catch it you'll have a symptom of unconsciously forming a curve of your lips. Her smile has a share button.
After fixing our things that we brought for today, I went upstairs to our room and do my night routine. I also changed my clothes and wore PJs.
After what we've done today, I am not quite ready to sleep. Since I'm not ready to lay down on the bed, I decided to get some wine from the kitchen and drink it back here in our room.
Our room has a terrace, I went there and sit comfortably on a small chair set at the center of the terrace. I filled the glass with wine. Before drinking it, I swirl the glass, leaving all the inside area with the prints of the red liquid.
From where I sat, I can see the inside of our room. There I saw my secretary, looks like tapos na siyang asikasuhin yung bata. She grabbed her towel at dere-deretsong naglakad papuntang banyo.
After that, I turned my gaze to the beautiful view of Baguio. The pit house owned by my parents was situated somewhat high up the mountain, so from my vantage point, I could see the beauty that Baguio boasts.
I lost count of how many glasses of alcohol I had. I paused in my drinking when I heard the door opening towards the terrace.
Colet: “Low tolerance ka sa alcohol pero ang lakas mong makakalahati ng wine. Tao ka pa ba?”
“Wanna sip?” I offered. She even looked at me for a second, checking if I was serious before glady accepting it and emptied the glass.
Colet: “Are you tired?”
“Not much. Actually, I had fun. It's been a long time since I've been on a trip like this.” I realized that my glass was empty so I refilled it again.
Colet: “You have been working so much kasi. Madami ka pang pwedeng i-enjoy bukod sa trabaho. Choose to be happy, Jho.”
“Nyenye, whatever.”
Colet: “You have everything in your hands, Jho. Why do you choose to crave for more?”
“Woah, hold on right there. It's not like nasa akin na ang lahat ng gusto ko. Lahat ng meron ako ay galing sa paghihirap. Hindi lang siya basta-bastang napupunta sa kamay ko, I work hard for it.”
Colet: “You have a point, but kahit isang buwan ka pang hindi magtrabaho, I'm sure na hinding-hindi ka maghihirap. What kind of richness are you aiming pa ba? Enjoy your life! Ang sarap kayang mamuhay!” She said and I just laughed at her.
“Hahaha you're so talkative. Yung bibig mo parang sundalo, hindi marunong sumuko.” Then I gave her a half glass of wine.
Colet: “I'm being serious here, Jho. Enjoy your life like a kid, like Jasmine. Try to enjoy things while it lasts.”
“Hahaha nag-enjoy naman ako kanina ahh. Kasama ko pa nga kayo 'di ba?”
Colet: “Gulo mo kausap, Babu HAHHAHA Mukhang lasing ka na ah.”
“Hey! I'm not drunk yet. 'Wag mo pangunahan katawan ko.”
Colet: “Kidding aside, what's the plan after this one week vacation?” I looked at her with a questioning look. I don't get her point. Am I already drunk?
