Chapter 58 - Culprit

Jhoanna's POV:

We're on our way back to the Philippines. We've already boarded the plane and will arrive at the international airport in a few hours.

Colet and I were next to each other and she was sound asleep and her head was leaning on my shoulder. Paano hindi tulog mantika ang isang 'to, nagpuyat ba naman kakanuod ng movies, sinamahan pa ng kaharutan.

Flashback...

Colet: “Babu, mahal. Let's watch movies!” Out of the blue she spoke to me after leaving the bathroom.

“Movies na naman? Walang kasawaang panonood, Nicolette?”

Colet: “Please, Babu. Nood na tayo.” She pleaded while her lips are pouting.

“If it's a horror movie again, watch it alone. Ayo'ko ng horror.” But she's still persistent. She continues to act as if she's a child who pleaded to obey what she wants.

“Let's sleep nalang. Mas better pa 'yon.”

Colet: “Ehhh, Babu naman. I wanna watch a movie.” She came closer and wrapped her arms around my left arm like a leech.

“Okay, fine! We'll watch a movie. Ano ba papanuorin natin?” She smirked, revealing all her teeth while her eyes were narrowing as if she's about to do a crazy plan.

Colet: “Insidious: the red door.”

“Huwag 'yon. Iba nalang.” I disagreed with what she wants to watch.

Colet: “Dali na, Babuuu. Bago lang 'yon eh. 'Yun nalang, please.”

“Aishh! Comedy nalang or romance like kathniel, basta 'wag lang 'yang mga horror na 'yan.”

Colet: “Hindi ka naman nyan matatakot kasi kasama mo naman ako eh.”

“Eh ayaw ko nga ng horror! Iba nalang, kung ayaw mo matutulog nalang ako.”

Colet: “Okay, fine. 20th Century Girl nalang. Maganda daw 'yun kahit masakit.” And there we agreed to watch. We opened the laptop and started to search for the movie.

We were next to each other on the bed and I was leaning on her shoulder. While in the middle of watching, she suddenly spoke.

Colet: “Hi, Bo-ra. I am Woon-ho.” I looked at her and smiled.

“Dami mong alam, Nicolette. But anyway, nice meeting you Woon-ho. HAHAHAHA.” I extended my hand to her and she reached out. Then, we are focused on watching again. The two movie characters just kissed.

Suddenly, the Woon-ho of my life was known for her competitiveness, she lowered her face to mine and kissed me on the lips. Napaka-harot mo talaga, Nicolette.

Our kiss was a bit intense, even more intense than the kiss of the main characters. After the kiss, I noticed how wide her smile is.

“I thought you wanna watch? Why are you doing something different from what you say? HAHAHAHA.” I utter to her after the kiss.

Colet: “Sorry, Babu. Nadala ako eh, medyo nakaramdam ako ng inggit. Alam mo na, competitive masyado gf mo.”

“HAHHAHA Idinahilan mo pa talaga yung movie para lang mailusot 'yang panghaharot mo.”
