Jhoanna's POV:

I am tapping my index and thumb finger on the steering wheel. Eager to arrive immediately at the hospital where Colet is. Kung pwede lang paliparin itong kotse, baka kanina pa ako nakarating sa ospital.

I received a message from Sheena informing me that Colet is already awake. So, I hurriedly went to the hospital using my car.

However, as I hit the road, I encountered heavy traffic. It seemed like time itself was trying to hinder me from seeing the person I love.

After an hour, I finally arrived at the hospital. I quickly made my way to Colet's room.

As I opened the door, my eyes scanned the hospital bed, and there I saw Nicolette talking with her family. She was awake and sitting on her bed.

They all stopped from catching up with each other and turned their gaze at me. They all look at me, including her.

When the moment our eyes met, para bang nagslow mo ang lahat. Her eyes was filled with longingness. She smiled at me. And just like that simple gesture, my heart melts.

I ran towards her and wrapped my arms tightly around her waist while I buried my face on her neck.

“I miss you, Babu. Namiss kita, sobra.” It has been her fifth day of stay here in the hospital and the fifth day since the incident happened.

It's been five days without any evidence found. So, no one knows where Colet and I are, except our families and friends.

We need to hide to avoid getting into another incident. Once Colet wakes up, we plan to leave the country together until the person who shot her is caught.

I have been going back and forth to the hospital for almost five days just to visit her. Just to be by her side, waiting for her to open her eyes.

And now she's awake, hindi ko napigilan ang sariling yakapin ito. She hugged me back, but not so tight since her body is still recovering. Then, she kiss the top of my head.

Colet: “I miss you too, Jho.” She spoke tenderly. And for the first time, I heard her beautiful voice again, causing tears to escape uncontrollably from my eyes. Thank God, you're back, mahal.

Colet: “I'm here na, Babu. I won't leave you.” Ngunit niyakap ko lang ito ng mahigpit. Hoping that this is real and I am not dreaming. I just keep on crying on her shoulder. You're finally here.

Mr. Vergara: “Anak, Colet. Labas muna kami, maiwan muna namin kayo dito.” Her father said as they excused themselves to give Colet and me some privacy to talk.

She held my face and slowly widened the gap between us so she could take a glimpse of me. She wiped my tears using her thumb and flashed her genuine smile.

Colet: “Babu, stop crying na. I'm okay now, you don't have to worry.” Dahan-dahang usap nito dahil nanghihina pa rin ito. Five days were too long that even her energy was consumed.

“I am sorry, Colet.” It immediately came to my mind, to apologize to her. I had been waiting for this day just to say those words, which I had been repeating over and over again while she was still asleep.

Colet: “Hey, Babu. Tapos na, I'm okay na.”

“I-I am sorry. It's my fault. It's all my fault, I'm sorry.” I repeated as I can't stop from sobbing.

Colet: “Stop saying sorry, Babu. Wala kang kasalanan. Please don't blame yourself. No one is to blame from what happened, except for the person who shot me twice. Okay?” Mahinahong usap nito na bawat salita ay may halong pag-iingat.
