Chapter 43 - Fallen

Colet's POV:

A month of courting had passed. With memories we make, a fluttering touch, a brush of desire, ignites the flame and fuels my love's gentle fire to her.

Through sunlit days and moonlit nights, We have weaved a tale of love's purest flights. Exploring depths, with every heartbeat, love's sweetness refrain.

For my love's journey for her knows no certain end, it will always bloom and blossom just for her. May this tender bliss of love keep me stronger and bring us to forever.

The moment I asked her that night, I was so scared and nervous. But I want to risk everything. After all, I can't stop myself from falling in love.

I don't want to act anymore, I wanted everything to be clear and real. Kasi habang tumatagal ay mas lalong napapalapit ang loob namin sa isa't-isa. That makes up our what ifs in our minds.

But what really pushed me to admit my feelings was seeing her with that guy at the garden that became Jhoanna's trauma. I was really angry that night. I was so ready to destroy his face kung hindi lang ako pinigilan ni Jho.

Dumagdag pa sa lakas ng loob kong umamin sa kanya ay noong nagkaroon kami ng biglaang gala. I never felt so happy and excited with someone aside from my family. She's one of a kind.

At sa planong iyon, doon ko na-realize kung gaano siya ka-espesyal sa akin. Sa tuwing sumasakay kami ng rides, natatanaw ko ang masasayang ngiti nito. The smiles that made me fall deeper.

Seeing another side of her being just a kid laughing not caring for other people's reaction and not the usual perfectionist boss, it just gave me more reasons to love my boss more.

I may not like her when I first met her, and even hate her more in the next few days, weeks, or months, but I can't deny as time passes by and as I get closer to her, I didn't know I was falling for her slowly.

At first, I thought I was just attracted to her physically. 'Coz Damn! That's THE Jhoanna Robles. But later on, when I came to know her deeply through constant conversations and going out together, the attraction turned into adoring and liking her more.

Since that night she allowed me to court her, I made sure to exert my 100% effort.

At times, I catch her smiling at the gifts I give her, which is my daily goal. That's why every day, I give her crochet flowers just to see her sweetest smile.

So today, I brought another bouquet of crochet flowers to the company. I just grabbed them since I slept at home and didn't have a car yet.

Thinking about this day, I'm already feeling thrilled and excited because I'll see her again. Eme ka, Nicolette! Papasok lang sa trabaho para humarot!

Sometimes in the office, there are days when I'd rather just gaze at her all day because she looks so stunning. But she always catches me.

Shit! Nahuli na naman niya ako! That's my fifth time since morning. Sambit ng isip ko.

Jhoanna: "Babu, wala kang matatapos kung tititigan mo lang ako buong araw." When our eyes met after she caught me staring at her, it felt like I was caught red-handed.

"Hehe😅 Sorry na, Babu. You're so gorgeous kasi eh. Try mo kayang pumasok na mukhang panget para hindi kita titigan ng matagal." I said while scratching the back of my head because of embarrassment.

Jhoanna: "If you don't stop staring at me during work hours, I'll really have to move your desk outside." She threatened seriously, which widened my eyes.
