Jhoanna's POV:
I've recently left the flower shop after picking up some pre-ordered flowers. This has become a routine over the past three days, so the owner recognizes me.
Now I'm on the road to deliver the flowers, even though I've been feeling heaving, handling them falls solely on me.
During my drive, I encountered traffic and stopped near a church. I noticed a cross there, which triggered memories to flood back into my mind.
Flashback...
"Napakatraydor mo, Migo! I trusted you! But what are you doing now!? There's no chance I'll forgive you kapag naka-alis ako dito!" I yelled madly, feeling my veins beat because of anger.
Migo: "Jhoanna, your words hold no value! If you refuse to marry me, it's best that you don't go to that girl or anyone else!" He shouts angrily.
"No matter what you do to me, you can't change the fact that I love Colet, and I will never develop even a little affection for you! Magkamatayan na, basta 'wag lang ikasal sa tulad mo!" I shouted at the top of my voice.
While we were arguing in the room, I was startled by the sudden sound of a gunshot. Migo quickly left the room and then came back.
I wondered where the gunshot came from, thinking it might be someone trying to rescue me. But at the same time, I felt uneasy.
A few minutes later, Migo returned with a gun and untied my hands from the chair. Trying to push him away was hard because he was much stronger than me.
Migo: "Jhoanna, stop resisting! Don't make things difficult for us or I'll hurt you!" He threatened me and he meant business with his words. With the way he's acting, I should refrain myself from resisting.
He forced me to leave the room. We moved towards the direction of the hall across from where there was no shooting. This is a different path than the one we passed as we first entered the building.
"Migo, please! Itigil mo na 'to. Pakawalan mo na ako!" I begged. But he's ignoring my words, focusing on leaving the abandoned building.
"Migo, stop this, please. Before it's too late!" Suddenly, he stopped and faced me. He pushed me against the wall and raised his gun.
Migo: "SHUT UP, JHOANNA! If you don't stop, I will force you to shut up with this gun!" He yelled, causing me to swallow hard due to fear. His mind seems shut off, he's not the same Migo I was familiar with. Perhaps I never truly knew the real Migo?
We rsuhed away from the place. The firing continues where we came from. After a few minutes we reached a car.
It's different from the one we used earlier. The area is also a different parking space. There were also men outside the car that were guarding the place.
"Migo, please! Let me go! Huwag mo ng palalain ang sitwasyon." I begged him in between sobs.
Migo: "Pasok." He spoke emphatically and did not even flinch from his wickedness. Since I didn't obey him, his men pulled me into the car. After entering, they followed and we left the place. As we left the place, I couldn't do anything but sob in fear.
Migo: "Stop crying, Jhoanna. Your tears will do nothing." But I ignored him. I don't care what he says. I just continued crying my heart out.
I don't even know how long I cried. I don't even know how long we traveled. With passing moment, my faith is slowly fading.
As time goes on, I'm losing hope of seeing Colet again and waking up to her smile each day.
