Chapter 16 - GF duties

Colet's POV:

I'm headed to GA Robles Dance Studio. Obviously, it's Gwen's studio, and I have to bring a big pile of papers for my Boss Sungit to sign.

She left the office early to make it to training. She only left a few tasks for me. And yes, her friends managed to persuade her—turns out they really pushed her into it.

At first, she was sure she couldn't make it. But because her friends were so persistent, she was convinced. Even her fans managed to persuade her.

Akalain mo 'yun? May fans si Sungit.

But what really made her agree was her grandmother. Of course, she couldn't say no to her Lola. That's probably the only time she gives in.

So here I am now, needing to bring the papers for her to sign every day.

When I arrived at the studio, they were still in the middle of training, so I sat on the side.

Then I saw her dancing gracefully. Her movements were almost flawless. I've seen Sheena dance before, but Jhoanna's moves are different.

She's so composed, and her facial expression is unlike her usual everyday demeanor. No wonder why her friends wanted her to join the dance charity, she's really good at leading.

The way she interacts with her teammates, I can't see her as the Boss, all I see is her leadership. She encourages the juniors with kind words, even Sheena. A young leader. Impressive.

It's only now that I've seen this side of her. She's truly extraordinary. She's capable of so much.

*Clap

Then suddenly, someone applauded, probably their coach. It seems like they've finished their training because they're already doing cool-down exercises. That's why I stood up immediately with what I brought.

Aiah: “Oh Hi, Nicolette! Wow naman! May pa flowers si Babu, ang sweet naman ni accla!”

Maloi: “Yieee, susunduin niya si Babu niya. Sweet naman ng jowa mo Jho. Sure na bang isa lang 'yan?” Nagsitilian naman ang mga kaibigan ni Boss habang siya ay nakakunot ang noo. Napaka-sungit talaga nito. Wala man lang kasweetan sa katawan.

“A-ahhh...ehh...Boss needs to sign these papers kaya napunta ako dito.” I explained to them. Earlier, I passed by a flower shop. Since leaving the office, I've been pondering whether I should bring something for Jho, especially since her friends know we're in a relationship.

I was thinking it would be a bit off if I didn't bring anything for my Boss besides work. Aba tanggapin niya toh, nabawasan pa pera ko dahil dito.

So there I was, on my way to Gwen's studio, and I passed by a flower shop. Something urged me to stop and buy flowers, so in the end, I bought a bouquet.

But I didn't expect them to ambush me like this, so I just scratched my head.

"Hi. For you." I said, causing her friends to squeal and giggle even more with excitement. Hindi pa ba sila pagod?!

Jhoanna: “Thanks.” Tipid na sambit nito habang pilit na nakangiti. Yung ngiti na tipong 'Ano na naman toh?! Humanda ka sa'kin.' Hays ang sweet talaga.

“Yung mga papers na need ng signature mo, nasa kotse. Should I get it and bring it here?”

Jhoanna: “Sa car nalang. Iuuwi ko na sa bahay, I will do it nalang doon.”

Stacey: “Guys! Alis na ako haa. May lakad kami ni Mommy eh, andyan na daw siya sa labas.” Sambit nito at dali-daling nagliligpit ng kanyang gamit.
