CHAPTER 37 | What? |

                                                                                       MOON POV

Loud sirens went off and blue and red lights were blinking off from a distance. All she could see and hear was the shrieking, crying, blood, and blood. The police and teachers were everywhere. She could barely hear herself think. 

She was crouching down to the ground, covering her ears. All she knew was that she was going through a panic attack. I can't go through this again, 

I can't I can't! She was hypervalenting. Her heart raced. Tears raining through. Someone help, please! Her prayers were right then answered. Someone had hauled her up from the wrist and took her somewhere. Her eyes were still squeezed shut. 

She didn't know where they were taking her, but what mattered to her was as long as she got out of there.

" Moon, Moon, MOON!" 

" Wh- what!" Qibli was trying to get Moon's attention all night. Moon and her friends were inside Umber's dorm. The safest place they could hide. 

" You can't just keep zooming out of this conversation! It's important to all of us and of course Winter!" He'd stated, flicking his fingers right into her face. It's true what he's saying. 

" Yeah, I know. I'm just tired, I guess." She sighed in exhaustion as she pulled her hood on. Qibli sighed and nodded. 

" I guess I can't blame you.. Y'know. Go take a nap if you want." 

" Thanks." She got herself up from the chair and headed for one of the bedrooms. A small click noise was made when she opened and closed the door. She observed the room closely as she was slowly heading for the bed. 

There were several posters and many brown, yellow and orangish decor laying around. This is probably Umber's room. She laid herself down onto the bed to feel a weird object piercing her back. 

" What the?-" She pulled the object out from under herself to see a picture of Qibli with several brown lipstick all around. 

This is definitely his.

She laid the picture onto the nearby coffee table and finally rested herself. Her eyelids slowly started closing. Hm, I hope Winter's okay. 

But her wish was the total opposite.

A loud clang echoed through her room, causing her to wake up. What was that!? 

" Ugh! Sorry!" A voice yelled, sounding like Turtles. She sighed loudly. After many minutes of silence and many failing attempts to get back to bed she gave up. Maybe I'll just go watch some TV. She got herself up from the bed, out of the room, and into the small living room. Everyone else was in the kitchen trying to make dinner. She plopped herself onto the couch as she flickered the TV on. 

" I guess I'll watch the news for a bit.." She muttered to herself. The TV went onto the news to see a middle-aged woman and a young man as the news anchors. 

" Isn't this a good night, James?" The lady asked the guy. 

" Of course it is, Harper!" 

" Unless we get bad news which we surely have!" Harper stated, grinning weirdly. 

" Well, then shall we head to the news?" 

" Of course!" The lady fixed her throat and twisted her face quickly to a tone of seriousness.
