It was Monday. 

The day where Bigtail came back. 

And when the rumors started.

I got to school safe and sound with no distractions. I pushed the doors opened smelt the school air. It was normal. At Least what I thought. I walked through the hallways regular but it felt.. Different. I saw people give strange stares at me instead of a smile of greet. 

Maybe everyone is just tired or something, it is Monday. I also noticed instead of a crowded hallway, everyone was giving at least a 2 foot distance from me. Now that was something. I finally reached to my locker before my intrusive thoughts take over. 

I noticed the people with lockers around me moving their locker doors away from mines. Did I do something to them? Do I smell bad or have something?? I kept ignoring and ignoring the thoughts and went to class. Still strange looks and acts. 

That's until Kinkajou pounced upon me. 

" Hi Kink." I said blandly as Kinkajou still had her arms wrapped around me. 

" Good morning!" I patted her soft head as she'd finally let go. She'd lead me to her desk where she ranted about her weekend and relationship with Turtle. 

" And then yeah! Were just THIS close to kiss!" She showed her fingers nearly touching. 

" Then why don't you ask him first instead of waiting for so long? Y'know he's shy." 

" Yes that's true but the man always ask first! Duh!" I rolled my eyes and glanced at the students. They eyed me suspiciously. 

" Um, anyways.. Do you know why everyone is acting strange? Specifically me?" Kinkajou's smiled immediately turned into a frown. 

" You don't know?" I raised one of my eyebrows. 

" What do you mean?" 

" How must you not know! Bigtail is back! And he's in crutches, bandages and everything! Just wait until lunch and you'll see!" 

And that's what I did.

Lunchtime-

I sat with my friends as usual. They weren't talking about Winter and Bigtail though, everyone else was. I scanned the cafeteria to find Bigtail. He was in crutches as I was told with bandages too. He was also wearing a black mask with sunglasses. 

There was nothing else out of the ordinary though. . That's until I felt someone tap my shoulder. 

" Hm?" I turned myself back to see a girl behind me. 

" Is it true that Bigtail and you are together?" 

" Excuse me???" 

" Is it true you can Bigtail are together?" 

" O- of course not!" 

" HA! TOLD YOU!!" The girl showed off to her friend. 

" That doesn't make sense though!" The two fought over our table until Qibli interrupted the two. " 'Xcuse me but are you guys talking about?" They tilted their heads at him in confusion. 

" You guys haven't heard?" 

" Heard about what??" One of them sighed. 

" Y'know how Bigtail came back, right?" We nodded.
