CHAPTER 39 | Interrogation prt 2 |

My jaw dropped. I wanted to hug him so badly but the cuffs and the man's grip on me kept me back. Then I could feel the man's big hands touch my hands and unlocked the cuffs. Finally! I ran up to Winter and gave him the biggest hug ever. 

" Winter!" 

" Moon!" I kept my hug tight around him as he laid his chin onto my shoulder. We let go after several seconds when the man finally spoke up. 

" Please sit down if you don't mind, m'lady." I nodded in response and gave Winter a quick peck on the cheek and sat myself down to the chair across from Winter. As I sat myself down I heard a small beeping sound from somewhere. I had no suspicion of it though. A loud cough came from the man nearby, interrupted the two. 

" I didn't bring you here for you two to have reunion." I nodded. 

" Then what for? " 

" An interrogation of course." An interrogation? I was rarely included into anything! 

" I guess we'll start then." I said as I broke eye contact with Winter. 

" Alright, so I have put two of you here for a lie detector test. I will give you two a question, and you will simply answer the question. If you tell the truth, the detector would show a green light. But if you lie, the detector would make a beeping sound and it'll show a small red light bulb. Easy enough?"

 We both nodded. He'd then grab a weird skinny head shaped object and placed it onto my head carefully as he also did the same for Winter. The last attachment was a long cord on our wrist's. He then flicked a switch from the machine and started the questioning. 

" Have you ever heard of the name Bigtail before?" He'd question me, narrowing his eyes. 

" Yes, he's a classmate of mine in most of my classes." I could see from the corner of my eye the machine showed a green light. He'd nodded and seemed to show a signal to the glass far behind him. 

" Is your relationship with this boy positive of negative?" 

" Negative." 

The machine beeped green again. 

" Alright. What about you? Is it negative or positive?" He'd ask Winter but he took a second to answer. 

" Ne- negative." 

The machine beeped green. 

" Alright, seems to be clear. Now, let's get to the serious questions." He'd pull out a thin beige colored binder and pulled out two photos. 

" Are both of you familiar with this person?" The photo showed the boy from earlier in the car. 

" Yes." Both of them said in unison. 

" What about this person?" He'd pointed at the photo beside it. I'd never seen the person before, maybe once but I'm definitely not close with them. 

" No- " 

" Yes." I glanced at Winter to seem him closely looking at the photo. 

" 'xcuse me?" The man questioned. 

" I know them." Winter stated, grabbing the photo with his cuffed hands. 

" I've met him before. He-... He was selling me some cigarettes before." That's when I saw the man show another signal at the window.
