CHAPTER 47 | I'm Back |

                                                                                 WINTER POV

Back to school as usual. Even after being gone for months and all that, I still got school to do. But after all this stuff, you don't know how people are going to treat you. Scared, angry, more kinder, I don't know but after this I'm surely going to start actually dressing good and acting like one of those hot Asian guys every girl simps for. 

I mean, many girls already do. I did dye my hair black at the prison since white hair is too 'distracting'. I mean, at least it looks really good though. Moon hadn't said too much about it except patting and fluffing my head nearly every time I saw her. But now, finally I can see all my friends. Even if it's mainly just Turtle and Kinkajou. Turtle is a chill friend that everyone wants to hang out with here and there while Kinkajou is a fireball. Great friends I have to say. But what about everyone else? How would they react? Well, I'm about to find out today.

The vehicle went to a halt. I stepped onto the curb, the same curb I haven't stepped on for months. Coming out of that car was leaving all my anxiety inside. Now, it was back to school with a new makeover. Physically and mentally. 

Me and Qibli headed for the entrance door to see kids stare at me in shock at the school. I quickly ignored it though. The doors slammed open. For once it was silent this morning. As me and Qibli walked through the hall we constantly got stares until something weird happened. A person started clapping, then another, then another another, then everyone. Everyone clapped and cheered us on. I didn't know what for but I felt proud once in my life. 

Proud for being a hero.

After all that cheering and clapping mess it was time to get to my locker and get to class soon. I reached to my locker to see by my right in surprise. It was Moon. 

" Moon? Wh- why are you here?" 

" Huh? Oh! Yeah they changed a few lockers around because of that whole stupid fight thing. They wanted to change your locker spot somewhere farther than Bigtail's so they decided to put you next to me since, y'know, you know me the most." She explained with a comforting smile at the end. I nodded slightly, understanding her explanation. She then turned her attention back to her locker until I had a snap in my mind. 

" Moon." 

" Ye- mph!" I pressed my lips against hers, grabbing her hand. She hesitated to take in the kiss but a second later joined in it. It felt like the same feeling I always have when kissing Moon. The diligent lips, the sparkling feeling, love most of all. After a moment of kissing I separated my lips from hers and gave her a quick peck on the cheek. I then left her behind in confusion and shock. Why did I do that? It was because I wanted to. 

Atleast to embarrass her and get people to know that Moon is mine. Meaning I don't want anyone to even think to bully her in any way or they'll end up like Bigtail. Recently I heard that I broke his jaw. Meaning he won't be here for a while. 

Or ever.

" Cause and effect does so much to everything that happens on Earth. For example this topic is causing a cause and effect right now-" The teacher continued to blabber on and on as everyone barely paid attention. History class was pretty boring to everyone. For me atleast. I brought my attention to Moon who was taking notes of the class. Maybe she won't mind if I grab her attention for a second. 

I reached out my hand and grabbed Moon's softly. She turned around to see me holding her hand affectionately. She smiled shyly and held mine too. Her hands and fingers were so gentle and soft. Her eyes glowing like green ambers they were. 

" You're welcome." She whispered. 

" For what?" I asked, still holding her hand. She giggled silently and took her hand back, bringing her attention back to the teacher. 

What is she talking about?

-RING-

Lunchtime! I speeded through the halls swiftly, well I didn't need to speed. I can't even be late because of everyone moving out of my way. Wait, what about Moon? I stopped in my tracks. Where's Moon? I twisted around to see Moon getting clattered by students on the way back. I then made the decision and turned around to Moon. 

I grabbed her by the wrist and right next to me. 

" Wh- what are you doing?" 

" Make you come with me of course, it's too crowded for you." She opened her jaw to say something but closed it right after and nodded with a smile. I grabbed her hand then and we walked through the busy halls. I could see looks and glares come at Moon but I quickly gave the people back a glare. As we walked I also noticed the school board with several girls whispering to each other right by it. What's with the fuss over there? 

I had to get a peak of what was going on over there. " Hey, go without me to the lunchroom, I forgot to check something." She nodded and patted my hair quickly and headed to the cafeteria. I watched her for a few seconds and then pulled my attention to the board. I reached to grab the poster everyone was gleaming at. School dance..? A school dance, of course. Something that grabs every student's attention. 

And when I say everyone, I mean for me too.

 A great time to take a rest and spend time with Moon and my friends. 

Maybe, for once, I would do something socially for once.

I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SORRY FOR THAT GOOFY AH LONG BREAK. I LITERALLY SAID I CHANGED MY MIND BUT THEN YE THAT HAPPENED! IM SO SORRY AND THAT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN :d I HOPE YALL ARE STILL INTERESTED THO :D
