"LLLLIIIIIIIIINDSEEEEEEEEEEEY!" I heard Stevie yell from downstairs. I pattered down the stairs in my boxer shorts, my hair still damp from the shower,"Yes baby."
"Do you like it?" She said completing one of her characteristic twirls for my benefit. "Stevie you know I'd rather you not wear any clothes." I said approaching her, "But for our wedding I'll make an exception, otherwise I might just have to ravish you in front of an audience." I crouched to tickle Lena who was rolling around in her playpen.
"Tut tut, corrupting our daughter's ears already."

"You're all damp! I can't risk ruining my dress."
"I can take it off for you..."
"It's bad luck for you to see it, never mind tou- No I'm sorry, rip it off me."
"Since when did we follow the rules? Also, I don't recall you complaint about my ripping last night."
"You can follow my rules for now. I'm going to feed Lena, and then you can rip something smaller off me."
"I'll look forward to it."
"Hm. I'll even kiss you properly."I blew her a kiss and went to wait upstairs. I adored her newfound confidence- she deserved it. Lying against our pillows I grinned to myself. Stevie didn't need to be superstitious, anyone would agree that we'd had enough bad luck in our time to secure us for some good in the future...
