Reversal 2

“Love! I aced our exams again!”

Beomgyu stop from stirring his coffee when the doors open and he saw his beloved waving a test sheet with a perfect score and smiling widely at him.

“Really!? Wow! My baby’s really the best! Come here!” Beomgyu exclaimed and gestured Taehyun to come to him and spread his arms wide open.

Taehyun run and jumps on Beomgyu as he hugs him tight. Beomgyu kissed the top of the younger’s head and then smiles. “You promised that you’re going to treat me if I have a perfect score, right?” Taehyun said.

Beomgyu paused for a minute then made a gap between them and looked at Taehyun. “Of course! Let’s go, buy some!” Beomgyu agreed.

Taehyun jumps like a kid and Beomgyu’s happy seeing the love of his life being that happy. “I’ll just change first,” Taehyun said before going inside their room.

Beomgyu’s smiles slowly fade when the younger closes the door. He then takes out his walled from his pocket to see how much money he has. Then he sighs after realizing it’s not that enough for them.

Taehyun after closing the door bit his lower lip and started bumping his head on it. “Idiot! Why did I tell him he’s going to treat me,” he whisper-yelled to himself and then sighs.

He proceeds to the box where their clothes are and he started changing his clothes. He takes a seat on the floor and he saw a folded paper on their mini vanity.

Taehyun looks at it and before he could read it, Beomgyu snatched it away from him. “Love, let’s go. I still have work,” Beomgyu said as he smiles.

“What was it?” Taehyun asked.

“Just some assignment,” Beomgyu replied and slid the paper on his pocket. “Let’s go, love,” he added and lends his hand on Taehyun.

Taehyun nods and takes his boyfriend’s hand and Beomgyu pulled him up. Then Beomgyu wrapped his arms on Taehyun’s waist and then planted a kiss on Taehyun’s lip.

“You’re so pretty,” Beomgyu complimented and caress Taehyun’s cheeks that went red.

Taehyun smiled as how Beomgyu suddenly compliments him. “Thank you!” he exclaimed and they both laughs.

The two went out and Beomgyu took him in the park’s street food. Taehyun looks so happy and decided to pick the cheapest food in the cart.

“How about you, love?” Taehyun asks his boyfriend.

“I’m fine, love. You should eat all of it!” Beomgyu replied and chuckles.

Taehyun just smiled at him because he already knows the reason behind. “Thank you,” he muttered and Beomgyu winked at him.

After having a tteokbeokki on a cup and bottled water, they take a seat while looking at the river and some birds in front of them. “I’m sorry if—“

“Oh! Old lady’s tteokbeokki never fails! It’s so good! I’ll keep on coming back for this,” Taehyun cuts Beomgyu’s sentence. “Thank you, love. I really appreciate it,” he added a smile and a kiss on Beomgyu’s cheek.

“You’re welcome,” Beomgyu smiles.

“Let’s not worry that much about things. I know, for sure, everything will loosen up,” Taehyun said and munch his food while looking at the running water in front of them.

“Let’s hang in there, we’ll make it through,” Beomgyu agreed and place his hand over Taehyun’s. “As long as we have each other.”

“Hey! That’s cheesy!” Taehyun laughs. “Mom, will send money to me for this month and we can add it to the expenses,” Taehyun stated.

“No, love. Use the money for your study, I’ll take care of the expenses. I’ll have multiple overtime for extra pay,” Beomgyu disagreed.

Taehyun frowns and looked at him. “Why? You’re studying too, love. And we agreed we’re going to help each other for the expenses,” he argued.

“I’ll be fine. Don’t worry,” Beomgyu assured. “I can handle it.”

“No way— should I start looking for part time jobs too?” Taehyun suggested.

“Nope!” Beomgyu pinched his boyfriend’s nose. “You’re not allowed to work. Focus on your studies,” he rejects.

Taehyun pouted and looked down to his feet. “B-but… But I really wanted to help,” he muttered.

“You’re helping me, love. I just want you to focus on your study and let me do the work. I can handle studying while working, so don’t worry,” Beomgyu reassured.

Taehyun looks at him. “Your mom… should we—“

“Don’t…” Beomgyu shook his head and smiled. “Let’s not talk about them.”

Taehyun nods, “Yeah, sorry. Anyways, I’ll study hard! And I’ll go to college and will have a stable job! Right, love? What do you want to be?”

Beomgyu sighs and looked afar. “I want to be one of the richest people in the world. Like every area of this country will have at least one of my properties,” he stated and looks at Taehyun. “Sounds too ambitious?”

“No… I like it. Let’s have it. Let’s reach that ambition together.”

“Right, let’s make everything we want happen.”
