"Mom, what happened?"

Taehyun arrived, panting, sweats all over his temples, he quickly approached Hueningkai's mom and hold her hand. "He's in the ward already. Let's go Taehyun," she said and they walk together.

The lady parted the curtain and Taehyun saw Hueningkai's forehead wrapped with a bandage and an elbow cast. "Babe, what happened?" Taehyun asks and pulled a chair to takes a seat beside the bed.

"Well," Kai sighs. "There's this kid who suddenly run at the road so I grabbed him but as you see," he pauses and shrug his shoulder. "But don't worry, I'll be fine. These are just minor ones," he answered and gave Taehyun a small smile.

"It's not that fine, Babe," Taehyun disagrees. "Look at your cast but still, good thing there's no major injuries," Taehyun replied and smile as well. "And thank you for saving the kid," he added.

"So will they help you with the expenses?" Kai's mom suddenly asks that made the two look at her. "My goodness Kai!" she reacted when she knew what the answer is already. "They should be grateful that you saved their kid from a getting hit by a car and they are not helping?" she scolded his son.

"Mom, you already—" Huening got cuts off.

"Oh for goodness sake!" she reacted. "Taehyun to talk to him, my blood pressure Jesus Christ!" she then walks away.

Taehyun purses his lips and hold Huening's hand. "Why aren't they going to help?" he asks.

"The kid's parents went here earlier and they don't have the capacity to help. I don't want them to give anything as well. Also, it's my deed," Huenungkai replied and let out soft chuckles.

Taehyun smiles with him. "Don't worry, I'll handle it. But how about your work now?"

Kai sighs, "You know... I needed to stay at home for now," he answered. "I'm sorry, Babe," he apologized.

"It's an accident, don't worry about it," Taehyun comforts and chuckles. "As long as you're now safe. I can have advance pay as well," Taehyun added. "And also..."

"What is it, Babe?"

"Well... m-my boss wants me to go with him on business trip outside the town but I didn't—"

"That's great!"

"Huh?"

"That's great opportunity, Babe!" Hueningkai exclaimed. "There'll be more OTs and you might also have an extra pay," his smiles are wide, teeth are showing.

"D-do you want me to go?" Taehyun asks.

Kai nods, "Yes! Why not? Why is there a problem? If there is then—"

"Excuse me, Mr. Huening?" a nurse suddenly peaked in. "Uh sir, we need to process your initial bills for now. Please follow me to the nurse station," she said.

Taehyun nods, "Yes, I'll be there," he replied and looks at his boyfriend. "I'll be back, Babe."

"Hmm okay," Hueningkai answered.

Right when Taehyun went out, that's when Huenining's mom went in. "What did he said, huh? Is he going to cover the bills?" she asks.

Hueningkai looks away, "We'll share, of course," he answered.

"This kid! I told you that we'll need your money at home. Hiyyih's still looking for a job and Lea's maternity checkup costs a lot too!" his mom nags him.
