“So we finally meet, Taehyun.”

Taehyun smiles at Shainne, “Nice meeting you, Shainne,” he greeted.

“And here’s my coffee for you,” she chuckles and takes a seat after putting their drinks on the table. “Where’s Gyu?” she asks while putting the straw on her frappe drink.

“He said Soobin and him need to take care of a few things before going in here,” Taehyun answered and sips on his drink. “Thank you for this,” he added and smiles.

“Oh no, no, it’s my treat,” she refuses the gratitude and smiles. “I have a lot of thing to say to you but I’ll just make it short, okay?”

Taehyun nods, “Sure… I wanna know your side too,” he smiles.

“So as you know, Beomgyu and I are fixed marriage and… there’s nothing we can do about it,” she purses her lips. “My father’s company needed his in order for us to excel in this country’s market and Choi Group needed us so they can expand internationally and to secure such negotiation, they decided to sealed it with their kids,” she explained and sips on her drink.

“I want to be honest with you,” she awkwardly laughs and bit her lower lips. “I know you love him, you both do—I can totally see it and feel it—but Taehyun the real thing is… you two can’t be together. And I’m not saying this because I like Beomgyu or what but he did everything, he studied well, he did what his father asked him to do because he wanted to be as successful as his dad—no, actually I heard from him that his dad challenged him to surpass him and that’s the only way for Director Choi to fully acknowledge him,” she storied.

She continue saying, “If you two will continue being together all of Beomgyu’s hardwork will fall into nothing. If you continue being with him, his family will disown him and if that happens, will you be okay with it?” she asks and Taehyun slowly shook his head. “That’s why, you need to let him go, Taehyun.”

“Get mad at me, I don’t care. Curse me or what but this is what I think is for the best. You love him so much, you learnt so much while being with him and I want you to find someone who will stay with you, comfort you, won’t be gone beside you, and will always love you,” she smiles and reached Taehyun’s hand.

Taehyun who’s about to cry, looked up to stop his tears. “Y-you’re making me cry,” he let out chuckles.

“I’m sorry, Taehyun… but you deserve someone better and that’s not Beomgyu.”

Taehyun nods and wipes his tears then he smiles. “I know… I already accepted that fact…” he chuckles. “Ah! Why are you making me cry?” he laughs.

“I’m really sorry,” Shainne pouted at him. “Don’t worry, I know you’re going to be happy. I can see it!” she exclaimed after.

“For real?” Taehyun laughs. “Thank you, Shainne… Please take care a lot of Beomgyu. You already know what to do and be a good wife to him, please…” he smiles.

“Of course! Don’t worry about it! I can handle his temper!” Shainne exclaimed and even acted tough.

“That’s what more I like it,” Taehyun smiles.

Kang Taehyun obviously accepted his defeat. Maybe the right thing to do is to let go of Beomgyu. Afterall, despite of sufferings and hardships, he found joy with him. That’s all it matters. That’s all what matters to him.
